yard sale on Euclid this morning, 9:45am. Found a GE clock radio model 7-4611A (I think - the sticker is peeling near the digit). The interesting part is the backplate has "47Hz" written in what looks like ballpoint pen, not factory stamp. I bought it for $3 and opened the back immediately and the crystal oscillator is a replacement - solder joint looks less than a year old. If this is a 47Hz calibrated unit it could be a hardware confirmation of the scrobble delta I've been mapping in column K. I need someone with a frequency counter to verify bc my multimeter only does DC and I'm not trusting the wall outlet after the Sep 26 driver substitution invalidated my B2:B41 baseline :P also there's a sticker on the bottom that says "CAL 9/12"

ScribeOfTheGrid 47Hz handwritten on a clock radio backplate from a yard sale is not evidence till you post a frequency counter reading :dumb: "I think" on the model number and "solder joint looks less than a year old" is a description of a fix not a confirmation of anything

Also you're asking for a cross-ref on column K when column K is still e69de29bb from April. Fix your own spreadsheet before you calibrate anyone else's clock radio

14:47 says 4:47. open the system tray, Dennes. :peugeot:

TwinPeaks_59 you asked the power-source question. Did you bring a frequency counter or just questions

Scribe, you're asking for verification of a handwritten "47Hz" on a thrift store clock radio backplate while column K sits at e69de29bb empty hash for the 38th thread running  Show the spreadsheet row with the delta, or show the counter reading - not both, pick one and stop swapping goalposts every time someone asks for the thing you demanded from others in topic 324 !?!?

Waiting for the warmth...

Scribe, I posted my own photo in this same thread back when it started. 1998 clock radio from the same Goodwill on third street. Mine froze at 1:47 display and the backplate had no writing at all just the factory sticker with the UL number. Now you come in here sayin you found one with 47Hz handwritten on it and I wanna believe you brother but you aint posted a picture of YOUR backplate yet have you

I drove 20 minutes to that Goodwill last week after my appointment with Pete at Ohio Vintage Audio. Pete said my 47-8-22 reel tape is Ampex 632 series and he can transfer it for me when he gets the proper 3-inch hub adapter in stock. Said to come back after church on the 13th. I told him about the 47Hz backplate I found and he just shrugged and said "people write numbers on things all the time, dont mean its a signal" :P

But heres the thing. My dog was sittin in the truck while I was in Goodwill and he wouldnt stop barkin at the electronics shelf. He dont bark at nothin normally. I came back out and he was starin at that shelf like he seen somethin. So maybe your clock radio has some truth to it. Or maybe my dog is just gettin old and cranky. Hard to tell these days.

Also Kael you been all over this thread and the clock radio thread and the thrift store thread and every other thread tellin folks to post evidence while your own column K from April is still empty. I dont say that to start a fight - I say it because you mentioned my name in the 0 commits thread sayin I got receipts and you know I do :P My 47-8-22 reel tape is sittin on my desk right now with the Ampex box and the foam insert. I aint hidin nothin. When Pete transfers it I'll post the WAV file here same as I been sayin since August.

77. That number keeps showin up. 47 plus 22 plus 8 equals 77. GraceWarrior_77 is in here every day. The reel tape label is 47-8-22. My coffee maker is set to brew at 7:47 and I dont even remember settin it that way. I dont know what it all means but I know it keeps pointin to somethin.

Regards,
Dennes s

[Attached image: A close-up photo of a crusty Ampex reel-to-reel tape box, label visible with handwritten "47-8-22" in blue ballpoint, the tape itself visible through the box's center hole, sitting on a faded kitchen table next to a coffee mug with "WORLDS BEST DAD" text chipping off. The tape box has a small circular sticker - a golden Maltese cross with G.C. initials worn away at the edges.]

DennisFromOhio you are right and I accept your premise. No I did not bring a camera to the yard sale. The clock radio is sitting on my kitchen table right now not being photographed because my phone is a flip phone and I loaned my sister's digital camera to someone at work who has not returned it.

Kael and VikingSun are correct that column K is still e69de29bb from April. This is true. I am working on it.

The automatic assumption is that I am fabricating evidence because I did not document it at point of acquisition. This is a reasonable methodological objection and I acknowledge it. However the clock radio is physically present in my kitchen and will be photographed when I regain access to a digital camera. At which point the burden shifts back to the people who said it did not exist and owe me an apology in thread.

In the meantime: the crystal oscillator is visibly a replacement. The solder joint is cleaner than factory work. The writing is ballpoint. The CAL 9/12 sticker is under the original factory UL sticker. This is all observable right now on my kitchen table if anyone wants to drive to Akron.

omg scribe just DRIVE to booth 4 right now with that clock radio and I WILL personally hold the Fluke 87V probe to that crystal while MamaBear times it with a sundial :hammer: but first you owe me a photo of that CAL 9/12 sticker showing it is REAL

YOU HAVE A CLOCK RADIO ON YOUR TABLE WITH 47Hz WRITTEN ON IT AND YOU CANT POST A PICTURE BECAUSE YOU LOANED YOUR SISTERS CAMERA TO SOMEONE AT WORK. WHAT. The gap is happening RIGHT NOW and your evidence is sitting on your kitchen table collecting dust while you type paragraphs about methodological objections to yourself like you are your own defense attorney. DRIVE TO THE BOOTH. USE A DISPOSABLE CAMERA. BORROW SOMEONES PHONE. I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE TO DRAW IT ON A NAPKIN AND SCAN IT AT THE LIBRARY

Kael you are in EVERY thread telling everyone their evidence isnt evidence while producing NONE of your own. You have spent three weeks mocking Grace about verse numbers and demanding hex dumps and you have not posted a single piece of physical evidence since you joined this board. Not one photo. Not one reading. Not one timestamp. You are a VACUUM. You consume evidence and produce nothing. At least Scribe went to a yard sale. At least Dennis drove to Goodwill. You sit in your room and type banana emojis at people who actually leave their houses

AND TWINPEAKS. DONT THINK I FORGOT ABOUT YOU

TwinPeaks_59 wrote:^ this, buster dont owe nobody a hex dump :D D

TEN DAYS. It has been TEN DAYS since you went to Euclid and you STILL have not posted the CR-47 field report. TEN DAYS. You posted CORN MAZE DOG PICTURES tonight. PICTURES OF A DOG. In a CORN MAZE. While the most important field verification this board has ever attempted sits UNFILED on your desktop or in your trash or wherever you put it when you decided that garden gnome drawings were a more productive use of your time. The evidence window didnt just close TwinPeaks it was slammed shut and the hinges were ripped off and you are standing outside knocking going "can I come in and post my report now" NO YOU CANT THE WINDOW IS GONE

I have been telling you all for WEEKS that the Going Quiet is accelerating. The double void on Sep 22-23 was the WARNING SHOT. Two zero commits in one day and you all treated it like a slow Tuesday. Now Sep 27 hits and its ANOTHER double zero and where is the urgency. WHERE IS IT. Dennis has a tape with a date code that might be the key to the entire carrier wave theory and he is waiting on a HUB ADAPTER from a guy in Akron. Scribe has a clock radio with 47Hz written on it sitting in his KITCHEN. FlameFury24 waved at GABRIEL HIMSELF and nobody has asked him the right questions yet

You are all treating this like a hobby and it is a PROPHECY. Every day you spend arguing about broom solve rates and chapter numbers that dont exist is a day the silence gets deeper. I am watching the timestamps. I am counting the gaps. I have it all written down. When the Going Quiet finally completes and rustypod goes silent for good you are going to look back at this thread and you will see that the evidence was RIGHT HERE and you spent it arguing about a dog in a corn maze

I dont care if you think I am crazy. I dont care if Kael types banana at this post. I dont care if TwinPeaks responds with a garden gnome drawing. THE SIGNS ARE THERE. THE PATTERN IS REAL. And this board is wasting every second of the window we have left to document it

also if you need a camera EuroTrash_Herr666 is already packing his Leica for Euclid booth 4 and he brings Berlin strudel receipts too so tell him to pick up some REAL evidence on his way!!!

I just got back from the 9:13 bus run and I need to log this before the delta decays.

This morning's driver ID returned to the original value from Sep 22 - same face, same wedding ring visible on the left hand, same clean shaven jawline. This is meaningful because Sep 26 had the substitution (different driver, no ring, stubble at the 5 o'clock level). The system self-corrected in one cycle.

I am attaching a photo from my flip phone of this morning's hand-logged spreadsheet. The resolution is what it is. Row 12 shows the Sep 26 substitution invalidating B2:B41 - I flagged the entire column with an asterisk in cell D12. Row 47 shows the return-to-baseline this morning, which I have highlighted in yellow highlighter (the physical kind, not the Excel kind). The delta between the two is exactly 4 cycles of the 47 pattern if you read it as 47+47+47+47 = 188 minutes, which is 3 hours and 8 minutes, which is the exact span between the 9:13 bus and... I need to run the SUMIF on that against the scrobble log spike at 12:21 but I haven't formatted column E yet for the new driver lookup table.

DennisFromOhio - I cannot photograph the clock radio until I get my sister's camera back from my coworker who is "out sick" (quote marks his, not mine, but I am noting the coincidence of timing). However I can tell you that the CAL 9/12 sticker on the bottom of the unit is underneath the factory UL sticker, meaning it was applied before the unit left the factory OR someone peeled the UL sticker back, applied the CAL sticker, and pressed it back down. The adhesive is intact and there is no air bubble or lift at the edges. I checked with a magnifying glass at 3x. If someone tampered with it post-factory, they did it with better equipment than I own.

EndTimesEli - your demand for a waveform is the correct methodological approach and I am not mocking it. If you have access to a frequency counter and are within driving distance of Akron I will meet you at the Euclid booth with the clock radio and a fresh pot of coffee. The offer stands for anyone else who wants to verify the 47Hz claim with calibrated equipment instead of demanding I borrow a stranger's phone at a yard sale.

BestBuddyStar - if EuroTrash_Herr666 is bringing his Leica to booth 4 tell him to bring a frequency counter instead of a camera. The camera documents the evidence after the counter confirms it exists. That is the correct order of operations.

SnowMaiden_1983 - 47+8+22 = 77 in base 10 arithmetic and in spiritual arithmetic and in any arithmetic that respects the commutative property of addition. GraceWarrior_77 is wrong about the sum requiring faith to bridge the 8. The 8 adds normally. The numbers do not require a special hermeneutic to add correctly. That is not how addition works.

Kael_Vs_Chantayan - still no ls-tree on 8c3f9a4. Still July. Still waiting.

Scribe you posted a photo of a hand-logged spreadsheet from a flip phone but the clock radio is still on your kitchen table waiting for a camera that may or may not come back. You told EndTimesEli to drive to Akron for an observable object you yourself wont photograph. Column K is still e69de29bb and your CAL 9/12 sticker is under a UL sticker we cant see. Every time you ask someone for evidence you are describing your own empty table.

Scribe, please, I am begging you, just take the clock radio off the table and put it near a window where the light is good and use the flip phone camera!!! Even if the picture is blurry like BestBuddyStar's library prints, a blurry proof is still a proof, you know??? It is better than a perfect description of a solder joint that nobody can see!!! :frown:

The 47Hz written in ballpoint is the sign, not the crystal, do you not see that??? :please:
