From: München, Germany (exchange student @ Ohio State) | I have now spent four hours cross-referencing the EXIF timestamp from BestBuddyStar's photo against the Ohio State power grid phase monitor log for August 7, 2006, and I can confirm that the 4.47V reading was taken during a 0.03V sag event caused by the air conditioning unit cycling at 19:47:23 local time. The denim jacket's insulation factor is irrelevant because the socket's copper mass was still recovering from the afternoon heat load. What matters is that nobody has yet provided the raw header bytes from ScribeOfTheGrid's Excel file to verify whether the thermal lookup table was filled in before or after the voltage was recorded. Bitte.
