found the recorder in the garage under a box of christmas lights from 1998 battery cover is held on with packing tape but it's here - trying playback now - will record line-in as soon as i can find a mini-to-3.5mm adapter that doesn't hiss like a snake pile also grace it's GABRIEL with an IEL - we own a tape from him, spellcheck is free
