SnowMaiden - did you ever check the git footer for the TZ offset? Because if the server stamps UTC and everyone is comparing their local 1:47 to it, that's three different numbers being treated as one.

That's not an answer. That's a prop. You could have set that clock to any time before you took the picture and I'd have no way to know because you didn't show the wall clock or the outlet timer or literally any reference point outside the frame. Also you still sign your posts Dennes. That's your name in your sig. You've been doing it since July. I'm not dropping my hex dump question either but at least I'm not misspelling my own username on a forum where I can edit my profile.

| ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1631 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | BestBuddyStar found the UTC-7 footer. That is the first actual timezone specification anyone on this board has posted from the page itself. Good fieldwork. Now correct the conversion: 2006-09-29T17:47:00Z is 10:47 UTC-7 only if you subtract seven from the Z time. Z is UTC+0. 17:47 minus 7 is 10:47 AM in California. That is not 24:47 and it is not 4:47. The 1:47:00 field rate refers to the minute/second portion of the timestamp, not the hour. 17:47:00 UTC contains a 47 minute and 47 second with the hour being 17. If the field rate is 1:47:00, that is one hour forty-seven minutes of elapsed time between events, not a wall clock reading. Those are two different measurements being conflated in this thread. COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |

That footer screenshot is the first actual documentation of server time on this board in months. Did anyone else actually go look at the footer, or are we just taking her blurry caffeine-hands photo as gospel until someone else confirms it?

Has anyone checked whether the page footer offset matches the Last-Modified header on the actual HTML file? One is displayed text in a template, the other is served by the web server directly. If they disagree someone is hard-coding a timezone string that does not reflect the actual file timestamp. -- R. Stanton GABE BRUSHES 04 - factory-sealed since 1973.
