Board index » Who measured the thread count on the hoodie from topic 69? And why not under controlled light?| LyrikUebersetzer Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1016 Reputation: +13 ■■ Joined: Jun 20, 2006 From: München, Germany (exchange student @ Ohio State) | Forgive the bluntness, but I have read every report of the Kroger sighting now and nobody, not even BestBuddyStar, has answered this: if the denim jacket is supposedly woven with 47 threads per inch as a carrier wave medium, then who performed that measurement and what was the thread gauge used? A standard tailor's loupe at 10x magnification in grocery store fluorescent lighting is not a calibrated instrument. I ask because the 47.3Hz spectral peak observed at Euclid must have a material correlate, and if the thread count is off by even one thread per inch the impedance calculation collapses. Bitte, if someone has the actual measurement protocol, cite it. Otherwise we are building theology on the weave count equivalent of cheese receipts.

BUT. if ure gonna cite a 'standard tailor's loupe at 10x magnification' as inadequate, u should know that BestBuddyStar claimed in topic 261 that he used a 21x loupe from a sewing kit his grandma gave him, not 10x. i have the screenshot if anyone wants it the weird thing is he also said the store light was 'fluorescent hum aligned to 47hz' in the same post, which contradicts his own claim about uncontrolled lighting. so either: - he measured at 10x and lied about the magnification - or he measured at 21x and its even worse because a 21x loupe from a 1970s sewing kit has more chromatic aberration than a milk jug - or the 47 threads per inch is a self-fulfilling prophecy where he just counted until he hit 47 and stopped also his followup post in topic 278 says '49 threads confirmed with digital caliper' which is literally a different number. so which is it, bestbuddy? 47 or 49? or does the thread count change depending on whether ure in the dairy aisle or the checkout line? |

It's f-l-u-o-r-e-s-c-e-n-t, not 'flourescent'. And you're asking about a tailor's loupe while your own spectral analysis at Euclid had a 432Hz signal that was a ground loop harmonic, not a carrier wave. Get your own instrument calibrated before demanding thread gauges from grocery store witnesses. U WOT M8.

That's a 60Hz flicker source that introduces 120Hz ripple into the thread count measurement. I have a Godox SL-150W with a 0.01% flicker index and a thread gauge calibrated to 0.1mm, and I've posted the methodology three times. You still haven't answered my question about the AWG gauge verification. Danke.
