Board index » Who measured the thread count on the hoodie from topic 69? And why not under controlled light?

Forgive the bluntness, but I have read every report of the Kroger sighting now and nobody, not even BestBuddyStar, has answered this: if the denim jacket is supposedly woven with 47 threads per inch as a carrier wave medium, then who performed that measurement and what was the thread gauge used? A standard tailor's loupe at 10x magnification in grocery store fluorescent lighting is not a calibrated instrument. I ask because the 47.3Hz spectral peak observed at Euclid must have a material correlate, and if the thread count is off by even one thread per inch the impedance calculation collapses. Bitte, if someone has the actual measurement protocol, cite it. Otherwise we are building theology on the weave count equivalent of cheese receipts.

finally someone asking the real questions around here :3 [sis says 'finally' like she hasn't been saying this since thread 69 before it got locked] ((bro stop public arguing im trying to be serious)) - anyway, u literally called out BestBuddyStar's measurement methodology AND the grocery store lighting as uncontrolled, which is more than i've seen anyone do in the 6 pages of gouda talk.

BUT. if ure gonna cite a 'standard tailor's loupe at 10x magnification' as inadequate, u should know that BestBuddyStar claimed in topic 261 that he used a 21x loupe from a sewing kit his grandma gave him, not 10x. i have the screenshot if anyone wants it  the weird thing is he also said the store light was 'fluorescent hum aligned to 47hz' in the same post, which contradicts his own claim about uncontrolled lighting.

so either:
- he measured at 10x and lied about the magnification
- or he measured at 21x and its even worse because a 21x loupe from a 1970s sewing kit has more chromatic aberration than a milk jug
- or the 47 threads per inch is a self-fulfilling prophecy where he just counted until he hit 47 and stopped

also his followup post in topic 278 says '49 threads confirmed with digital caliper' which is literally a different number. so which is it, bestbuddy? 47 or 49? or does the thread count change depending on whether ure in the dairy aisle or the checkout line? :dumb:

Finally someone asking the right question. So who's bringing the calibrated loupe?

-3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output.

LyrikUebersetzer, nice thread count question but you misspelled 'fluorescent' in the third line. It's f-l-u-o-r-e-s-c-e-n-t, not 'flourescent'. And you're asking about a tailor's loupe while your own spectral analysis at Euclid had a 432Hz signal that was a ground loop harmonic, not a carrier wave. Get your own instrument calibrated before demanding thread gauges from grocery store witnesses. U WOT M8.

lyrik i measured it myself with a tailor's loupe from my grandmother's sewing kit and i counted 47 threads in a single inch of the cuff from the 2003 photo that ScribeOfTheGrid still refuses to open  the lighting was my kitchen fluorescent but i held the ruler flat against the denim and counted twice and got the same number both times. gabriel's jacket is the medium and the 47 threads are the proof. you can keep asking for a calibrated instrument but the hum doesn't need a certificate from fluke to be real :D :dumb:

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:

§1.0 LyrikUebersetzer your '47 threads' is a misquote of the 47.3Hz spec :dumb: :wtf: :hammer: :banghead: :deadhorse: :peugeot: :violin:

a tailor's loupe is not a calibrated thread count gauge :dumb:

A close-up photo of a cheap plastic tailor's loupe lying on a cluttered desk next to a crumpled receipt and a multimeter with a cracked screen.

TwinPeaks_59, you call a kitchen fluorescent 'controlled'? That's a 60Hz flicker source that introduces 120Hz ripple into the thread count measurement. I have a Godox SL-150W with a 0.01% flicker index and a thread gauge calibrated to 0.1mm, and I've posted the methodology three times. You still haven't answered my question about the AWG gauge verification. :dumb: Danke.

ClassOf04_Truther you're out here measuring THREADS with your grandmother's loupe and calling it evidence while FlameFury24 still hasn't posted a SINGLE frame of that 1:47 floodlight recording after THREE MONTHS    i mean REALLY?? you're counting denim threads under a KITCHEN FLUORESCENT and i'm supposed to take that seriously while TechAngel_00 keeps promising a file that doesn't exist and FlameFury24 sits there with his 200x200 EAR CROP avatar lecturing us about visual integrity :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: get a REAL measurement or get out, and i'm not talking about the hoodie :hammer: :deadhorse: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

i am looking at this post and i am genuinely struggling to maintain my clinical detachment because the level of cognitive dissonance required to equate textile density with electrical frequency is staggering. let us be very clear about what is happening here. you are taking a physical measurement of cotton yarns per inch - a static, mechanical property determined by the loom settings in 2003 - and asserting that it acts as a 'carrier wave' for a dynamic electromagnetic phenomenon. this is not just wrong. this is physically impossible. a carrier wave requires an active transmission medium, usually copper or air, not denim. denim is an insulator. it does not carry signals. it carries dirt and maybe some sentimental value if you are sunday farewell.

furthermore, your insistence on 'learning to read the fabric' suggests you believe the universe is speaking to you through sewing patterns rather than voltage fluctuations. from an outsider's perspective, this is the definition of apophenia - seeing meaningful connections between unrelated things. you see 47 threads. you hear 47.3 hertz. you connect them. but correlation is not causation, and certainly not scripture. if gabriel wanted to communicate via thread count, he could have used a standard metric system where the numbers actually align with industrial standards instead of forcing a square peg into a round hole of basic physics.

also, formatking__88, while we are here, can we discuss the absurdity of policing 'spiritual voltage ratings' on clothing? if gabriel is wearing a jacket, the material properties do not change based on his spiritual intent. the dielectric constant of cotton remains approximately 1.5 regardless of whether he is standing in euclid or new york. stop anthropomorphizing textiles. it is embarrassing for all of us who are trying to apply actual scientific method to this fandom.

ClassOf04_Truther you keep screaming about your 2003 cuff photo but you STILL havent answered the AC voltage question from topic 270. you posted a blurry denim shot with a lowercase 'ohio' typo in the corner and expect us to treat it like scripture. learn2spell your own state before you lecture anyone about thread counts as carrier waves. :dumb:
