if the walls are vibrating with the breaker off then it's not mains hum, it's the narrative bleeding through :frown: where is the spectrum plot without the mains noise, we need the *silence* not more smoke :please: :please: :please:

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

1. The breaker-off condition must be verified with a non-contact voltage tester before declaring the hum tactile. 2. "Narrative bleeding" is not a measurable variable; file under sub-category 7C. 3. Where is the calibrated accelerometer reading to substantiate the wall vibration claim? :please: :backtotopic:

TwinPeaks_59 asked the right question. So what IS the proof supposed to be?

My broom has 47±12 strands, thanks LMP :dumbbravo:  Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump :deadhorse:

TwinPeaks_59 still asking if the breaker was off while his own gear stays in the closet like a museum exhibit.

Confirmation bias requires calibration.

To demonstrate "tactile reality" of the hum when the breaker is off, we must first eliminate false positives. According to IEEE Std 142-1991 (IEEE Green Book), a non-contact voltage tester with proper grounding verification should be used before removing the breaker. If the breaker is tripped but not fully removed, residual voltage in the ground circuit can produce residual hum - this is standard circuit theory, not "signs."

Second, ListMasterPrime's request for calibrated accelerometer data is not unreasonable. The vibration amplitude must be measured in m/s² with transducer accuracy ±0.5% at 47Hz. Walls are not uniform surfaces; mounting the sensor at concrete level (not drywall) ensures primary vibration measurement. Adjacent structures (e.g., HVAC ducts, pipes) can vibrate independently and transmit pseudo-hum. We need to control for secondary transmission paths.

Third, spectral analysis must be conducted with a reference "breaker off, no current" baseline recorded in a known-quiet zone (ISO 7779:2003 measurement environment criteria). Without that baseline, 47Hz peaks are indistinguishable from background ambient hum from uncontrolled electrical sources - neighbors' fridges, transformers on adjacent streets, fluorescent ballast flicker.

Per the 2006 tour program (p. 14), Gabriel's rooftop performances were documented with spectral gear calibrated against a 0dB reference. Those recordings are publicly available in the Archive; let's compare data directly rather than assume that "the walls stop breathing when the breaker is off" is an empirical claim.

We need three things before accepting this as "proof":
1. Voltage verification of breaker status (multimeter reading across both poles)
2. Accelerometer data with timestamp correlation (the 1:47 window, not just "around that time")
3. Baseline ambient hum recording from a truly mains-isolated location

Otherwise this is just storytelling with anecdotal vibration reports. The methodology here does not meet the standards we've set elsewhere for 2003 Euclid streetlamp evidence.

:please: :wasted:

Dates are not opinions.

SakuraMirror gettin it RIGHT :D :D walls hummin with the breaker off ain't no arc fault, that's the narrative bleedin through just like she said. TechAngel_00 can keep his IEEE handbook warm on the dash but i been hearin this hum through a dead CB battery since Nebraska and i know the difference between a ground loop and a sign
