Dennis, is the word "IN" pre-printed on the card by the manufacturer, or is it written by the same 1976 hand as the rest? Because if it is pencil, you have nothing but one clerk's guess

In POLAND factory clock was not decoration it was CONTROL, the same as Gabriel feed if you think about it!!! Punch clock at 4:47 is not "witness" it is boss watching your hands, and in POLAND 1980s we were very aware of who was punching WHO!!! Wałęsa did not need clock to know shift was over, he knew by spirit o e: typo  and also Dennis FLEEP THE CARD OR FLIP IT WHICHEVER BUT POST PHOTO OF BACK!!!

GABREIL. GABREIL!!! FOR THE 500TH TIME IT IS GABRIEL!!! NOT GABREIL!!! I WILL REACH THROUGH THIS MONITOR!!!

Grace keeps saying the clock remembered him across thirty years but the clock also remembered to land on 4:47 which is the exact same number Dennis has been dodging for 78 days on his own clock radio photo. the clock remembers what the believers need it to remember. funny how that works.

grammar asked if the IN was pre-printed or pencil and everybody swerved to dodge like it's a pothole. dennis you still haven't said whether that word comes from the factory or the 1976 hand. that's the only fact on this whole card worth a damn. is printing press ink or lead pencil, one word answer, the rest of us have been arguing ghosts because nobody would name the material.

47 swans. zero photocopied chapters. i know which evidence chain i trust. :moonwalk:

EuroTrash, fella, I looked at it under the glass this afternoon before I came on here, and that IN is lead pencil, plain and simple, 2B if Im any judge, wrote by the same hand as the 4:47 slot, not the factory  so the answer is pencil and that makes it ONE clerks guess, like Grammar said, and I aint ashamed of that, a clerk from 1976 still remembered his day better than some fellas remember their promises. not takin sides on anyone, just an observation :P and while Im here, Kael dear, the thread up in general spells my name right in three places, I counted em myself, and you still aint posted the April hex dump at week 26, but you found time to call me out again in the homework thread  flip the card, post the dump, and maybe spell my name right for once. Regards.

Dennis, what about the BACK of the card - does the 1976 hand have ANY mark on the OUT column? Even a stray pencil line, a smudge, an erasure ghost? If the OUT column is blank (not erased, blank) then the card only records an IN event and we cannot infer the punch direction from the card alone, which means the 4:47 belongs in a separate column from BigRig's 4:47:04 receipt because his has a measurable OUT boundary (shift end) and yours doesn't. Two different data types in the same row produces a type mismatch in column H every time :P
