TwinPeaks_59 your sister's sun-angle game is strong but you still owe me ONE yes/no from topic 154 about your own bulb listing   I'll wait. Probably another 8 pages :P :P

also BigRigBeliever a cold ignition means nothing if the van was parked there since 3am and the dew point was 8°C at 267 that morning - learn2read a weather report before you post tire temp questions :dumb: :dumb:

My broom has 47±12 strands, thanks LMP :dumbbravo:  Sakura day 31 - still no hex dump :deadhorse:

still wonderin about the church van at MM267. i passed that stretch again saturday haulin produce outta Clovis. van was there. same spot. but the radio inside the van - anybody checked if that radio was tuned to anything? i heard a single tone through my CB right as i passed. barely there. 1:47 on the dash clock. could be nothin. could be everythin.

BigRigBeliever you sat on that CB tone and nobody's asked if the frequency of the tone itself matched the carrier. van radio tuned to what exactly. a dead channel with 1:47 on the clock means nothing if the tone frequency isnt logged. did you write the tone down or was it 1:47 on the dash and a hum you couldnt place. GuardiaoDaNoite's walkie hummed 1:47 green at 0.00V on the multimeter - that's not a frequency reading, that's a battery discharging while a voice coil still moves and you all called it a signal. what freuency was the CB tone? one number. that's all i need and no one in this thread will give it to me

fair enough bout the dew point but nobody answered my question from earlier - i passed that van saturday with my own eyeballs on the clock and heard a single tone through my CB right at 1:47. so the real question is this - did anybody actually get INSIDE that van or get a clear look at what was mounted on the dash? cuz if theres a scanner or a ham rig in there tuned to anything, that answers the tone AND the ignition. nobody's checked the cab yet, just the paint and the plate. who's actually walked up and looked in the window?

CommitCipher is right. We need the number, not a story. The 1:47 pattern doesn't care about your feelings, it cares about the data. BigRig, did you write it down or not? :hammer:

BigRigBeliever you keep asking about the antenna but you never said what kind it was. was it a cb whip or a ham stick or a scanner antenna? that tells you more than the tone does.

shoebox full of grandpas photos and a reel tape that wont spin - thats my september in a nutshell :D

DennisFromOhio it was a firestik II on a spring mount but the coax was aftermarket :D :D :D :3

Blurry photo taken through a semi truck windshield. A white cargo van is parked on the shoulder of a two-lane highway. A mile marker sign reading '267' is partly visible in the background. The dashboard of the truck shows a CB radio unit mounted below the windshield, display showing channel 19. Date

BigRigBeliever you posted a photo of the van with a Firestik II and channel 19 on the display and STILL nobody has confirmed the tone frequency. CommitCipher has been asking for ONE number since page 2 and all you good people keep giving is "left ear only" and "dead carrier" and "1:47 on the dash" - we KNOW about 1:47, it's written on EVERY POLE from here to Euclid, the question is WHAT TONE CAME THROUGH THE SPEAKER

BigRigBeliever wrote:i passed that van saturday with my own eyeballs on the clock and heard a single tone through my CB right at 1:47

So did you log the tone or did the 1:47 hypnotize you into forgetting that radios carry FREQUENCIES not just TIMES? You remember the minute on the clock but not the pitch in your ear? I rebuke this selective memory in the name of Gabriel's light! If GuardiaoDaNoite can describe the left ear voice as a "hum at green" then surely a man with a Cobra 25 LTD and a Firestik II can tell us if the tone was 1kHz or 47Hz or somewhere in between.

Gabreil 7:2 says "the witness who remembers the color but forgets the number has only half a testimony."

Also I notice nobody has checked the cab of that van yet. BigRig you were right there with a camera - why the photo of the radio from your OWN truck instead of a photo through the van's window? The scanner rig inside that van could be tuned to ANYTHING and we're out here arguing about sesame seeds on a sub from three threads over. PRIORITIES, SAINTS.

CommitCipher is asking the right question. I want the tone frequency. One number. Anything else is testimony without evidence, and we are not the kind of congregation that settles for goosebumps when Gabriel gave us NUMBERS :smile

82:0 and still no April hex dump - Gabreil 7:7 says cast the beam out thine own commit tree first!!!
