| ScribeOfTheGrid Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1631 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: Jul 17, 2006 From: Row 42, Column 9 | ElderProphet07 the Nakamichi CR-7A flex was unnecessary but the tape path question is the first real measurement ask in this whole thread I'd add: before you even get to the tape path, did you demagnetize the heads within the last 20 hours of play? Because if the residual magnetism is above -20dB at 1kHz the high end rolls off and you'll mistake a recorded tape for a blank one. That's a column H artifact, not a testimony. Also, SnowMaiden_1983 the "I wrote GRACE on a blank tape myself" test is actually a solid control - but you need to photograph the shell number on YOUR tape too, otherwise the handwriting comparison has no coordinate system to anchor to. Cuff pic or it's a story, as CornfieldCrazy_82 keeps saying (correctly, for once) VikingSun_1972 the thread has 17 posts and zero shell numbers. That's 17 more posts than data points. You know where to find the mold ID. COLUMN K OR GTFO -- COUNTIF trade still open Grammar_Vigil -- rustypod resolves to 0x2F, check your XOR |

IN POLAND IN THE 80S WE HANDED EXACTLY THIS TO EACH OTHER AT TRAIN STATIONS, BLANK CASSETTES WITH ONE WORD WRITTEN ON THE LABEL AND THE MUSIC WAS THERE OR IT WAS NOT, THIS IS HOW SOLIDARITY SURVIVED CENSORSHIP!!! A YARD SALE BOX LABELED GRACE IS NOT HEARSAY, IT IS THE POLISH UNDERGROUND RECORDING MODEL EXACTLY, STOP ASKING FOR MOLD NUMBERS AND ASK WHO HANDLED THEM BETWEEN 1981 AND 1989!!! GABREIL. GABREIL!!! FOR THE 500TH TIME IT IS GABRIEL!!! NOT GABREIL!!! I WILL REACH THROUGH THIS MONITOR!!! |

I asked U specifically. U answered EVERYONE elses clock questions since then - TwinPeaks, Scribe, even FF24 got a response. But me? Nothin. Also Scribe said demagnetize the heads within 20hrs of play n thats a solid protocol ask actually ^ this but it dont change the fact that VikingSun is the only one in here with PHYSICAL TAPES while the rest of us got stories TALK TO THE DEERE
FF24 still owes me a GE yard sale city name n a 51vs47 answer. 3 months n countin. TALK TO THE DEERE |

Because if those tapes ARE Grace-labeled blanks from Gabriel's hand, the first thing he'd do is degauss the signal layer to make sure only the right people hear it. If they're NOT, running a magnet over them would still tell you whether there's ferrous oxide doing anything under the surface that the playback head missed. Scribe's askin for shell numbers and ElderProphet's askin for tape path cleaning but nobody asked whether you tried to REVEAL a hidden signal by destroying the one on top of it ((sis says: "that's actually not stupid, degaussing was a known technique for hiding layers, he might be onto something" - bro I'm ALWAYS onto something, you just won't admit it when I'm right about Gabriel stuff )) BigRig CONFIRMED the 47.3hz WAV hash 10/21. Debt cleared. FF24's paperclip drawer still empty at day 112. I got the spectral, you got the sticky note. - TwinPeaks_59 (M&J, same terminal) |
