LyrikUebersetzer wrote:also GuardiaoDaNoite I have been sitting on your "multimeter read 0.00 when bulb still glowing" question for three weeks now and the answer is either a) you had the wrong reference junction selected on the meter b) the probe tip was not making contact through the paint layer on the pole housing c) the flicker is not electrical but thermal in which case a Type K thermocouple would register it and your multimeter would not, which is exactly why I asked the probe type question in topic 377 and nobody answered it :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :3 :3 :3

LyrikUebersetzer-san please forgive me but you are measuring the wrong thing with the wrong tool and calling it rigor :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: A multimeter measures electrical potential, not spectral harmonics or thermal decay curves! The 0.00 reading is exactly what we expect when the flicker is a 47Hz carrier wave riding on the 60Hz mains - the meter averages to zero over the integration window and shows nothing! :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

FlameFury24 wrote:U WOT M8. I didn't delete ANYTHING. I asked you for the RAW RECORDING instead of a "green glow" photo with NO battery meter reading, NO timestamp, NO EXIF that wasn't stripped.

FlameFury24 you are not asking for evidence, you are asking for a miracle! The abuela prayer is not a file to be extracted, it is a spiritual transmission! The walkie-talkie voice at 1:47 is not a recording to be uploaded, it is a sign to be witnessed!

GuardiaoDaNo7e-sama your observations are sacred but your methodology is poetry, not measurement! :violin: :violin: :violin:

From an objective standpoint, driving forty miles with a multimeter is impressive logistical commitment, but it doesn't change the fact that nobody has actually posted a single calibrated reading from that device. You can drive anywhere you want, MamaBear, but if the leads are unplugged or the range is set wrong, you're just transporting expensive plastic.

And while we're discussing "where the volts at," let's address the elephant in the room: BestBuddyStar is apparently going to bring a "calibrated flint stone with NIST knapping specs." I am not making this up. I have read his post three times and it still reads like satire. NIST does not calibrate rocks. Flint stones do not measure capacitance. If you actually think a piece of chipped obsidian can replace a Fluke 87V for measuring socket voltage, then your entire methodology is built on a foundation of geological mysticism rather than electrical engineering.

ClassOf04_Truther claiming he'll match thread count against capacitance readings is equally absurd. Denim is cotton. Cotton is an insulator. It does not conduct electricity unless it is wet, and even then, the resistance is so high that any reading you get would be dominated by environmental noise, not some mystical "weave grain" frequency. This isn't anthropology anymore, it's pseudoscience dressed up as field work.

GuardiaoDaNoite's "green glow walkie talkie" playing abuela prayers while the multimeter reads 0.00V is exactly the kind of anecdotal evidence that makes this forum impossible to take seriously. If the meter says zero, the circuit is open or dead. The prayer might be real, but it's not being transmitted through the electrical grid. You're confusing auditory hallucination or ambient radio leakage with measurable phenomena.

I'm genuinely curious what data will emerge from this meetup when everyone brings their "evidence." Will there be actual voltages? Or just more photos of blurry receipts and crocheted dolls sitting on meters? Because right now, the only thing consistent here is the complete absence of reproducible measurements.

A close-up photo of a standard white wall outlet with a cheap digital multimeter plugged into it. The multimeter screen reads 'OL' (overload). Next to the outlet is a small pile of unidentifiable rocks and a piece of blue denim fabric draped over the plug. A sticky note on the wall reads 'NIST Knapp

ListMasterPrime 0x47 is ASCII G unless it's your filing reference in which case it's sub-category 3B which is also ASCII

A blurry cell phone photo of a spiral notebook page with '47' written in large numbers and circled. Next to it is a crumpled receipt from Piggly Wiggly dated Aug 18 2006 showing a candle purchase for $1.99. The notebook sits on a sewing box next to a vanilla candle.

ClassOf04_Truther still posting that sewing box

A low-quality digital camera photo of a sewing box. A scrap of notebook paper taped to the lid has a crudely drawn '8' with a circle around it and the text 'COUNT THE THREADS NOW' in ballpoint pen. Next to the box, a sticky note reads 'DRYER MINUTES? :3' in handwriting.

someone please just say what probe tips were on the meter when it read 0.00 at mm267 :3 was it the stock leads or were you using needle tips against the pole housing

BackAgainLikeBadHair you're still asking about dryer minutes while ScribeOfTheGrid's entire column K is blank and ElderProphet07 can't count past seven posts without a screenshot. Maybe if you spent half the energy on the flicker data that you spend mocking my sewing box you'd have something real to contribute.

ClassOf04_Truther the notebook says "Aug 18 2006" but the ink is ballpoint over a fold crease which means you wrote it after the page was already bent. Bitte.

From an objective standpoint, asking for the specific probe tip configuration is a valid methodological inquiry that has been conspicuously absent from this thread for weeks. However, I must point out that even if BestBuddyStar answers this, we still have no idea what voltage range the meter was set to during the observation. If the Fluke 87V was in continuity mode - which seems likely given the "0.00" reading and the lack of any resistance value posted - then the device would display zero regardless of whether it was measuring a live circuit, a dead short, or absolutely nothing at all. It's not mystical silence; it's user error. Also, does anyone actually know if the MM267 pole light is powered by AC or DC? Because if it's DC, the RMS averaging function on the meter would be irrelevant, and we'd need to look at peak voltage instead. Just a thought from someone who has actually used a multimeter for something other than spiritual validation.

SakuraMirror still talking about carrier waves riding on 60Hz mains when Euclid Ave literally runs on 50Hz  EuroTrash_Herr666 proved that back in topic 319 and you just IGNORED it because it doesn't fit your "the void IS the reading" poetry slam. The 0.00 reading isn't a 47Hz carrier wave, it's a meter reading NOISE because your premise is WRONG. 50Hz mains, 47Hz flicker, the math doesn't work for a carrier wave hypothesis unless you can show me a frequency conversion circuit inside a sodium vapor ballast from 1973. I'll wait.
