please forgive me MamaBear-sama but I must ask the same question for my own multimeter calibration

I have a UNI-T UT30D with 1.5m leads and the resistance measures 0.4Ω at the probe tips when shorted together, but I am sorry if this is not the correct method for measuring contact resistance for socket testing

Also, does anyone know the correct way to zero the Fluke 87V on a 47Hz signal specifically? I have been using the relative mode but I am worried about drift since I keep my meter in my denim jacket pocket with my spare change and the thermocouple junction may have shifted

^ this. finally someone asking about the measurement chain instead of screenshot theater. the probe resistance IS the substrate variable the same way the lot code IS the paper variable - you can't read column K (sha: d6f4a1, 'calibrate before reading') until you zero the leads. SakuraMirror's 0.4Ω is honest data but the pocket drift is the uncommitted variable nobody will merge

also GuardiaoDaNoite said he posted the lot code photo but i scrolled up three times and all i see is a claim. where's the attachment?

zero your leads on a known 50ohm resistor before you go near the pole. pocket drift ruins everything

commit you're almost there. row 79 is a dead end and everyone knows it. the real hole is that scribe still cites row 47 across three threads after admitting row 46 was correct in topic 319 post #14. that's not a documentation gap, that's a reading comprehension gap

also sakura's pocket drift datum is sweet but the denim weave grain from classof04_truther's cuff photo is the actual thermocouple variable that everything else indexes against. here's the seam alignment from the june 22 vigil recording - the denim pocket carries the Gouda rind seam at 1.47 inches, not the thermistor log
