Board index » Tsukuba Station kiosk Unit 02 thermal paper gamma curve - EXIF timestamp says 2006-08-15 22:47 JST| SakuraMirror Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 799 Reputation: -2 ■ Joined: Jul 11, 2006 From: Tokyo, Japan | GuardiaoDaNoite wrote:Tsukuba Station kiosk Unit 02 thermal paper gamma curve still unmatched against recital gold foil please forgive me but the EXIF timestamp on the thermal paper scan I uploaded in topic 377 column F is 2006-08-15 22:47 JST and NOT 2006-08-16 as mistakenly repeated by GuardiaoDaNoite in topic 387 post #17 the gamma curve still matches the recital gold foil spectral artifact exactly as verified by my Epson TM-T20 at home with the paper fed through at 22:47 JST on August 15th [Attached image: A thermal paper receipt from Tsukuba Station kiosk Unit 02 showing a faint grid pattern and a timestamp at the bottom reading '2006-08-15 22:47 JST'. The paper is slightly curled, and a small ruler is placed beside it for scale. The spectral artifact matching the recital gold foil is visible as a faint golden shimmer along the top edge of the paper.]

SakuraMirror I've been saying since April that you need to check the paper lot code - my 2003 cuff photo thread count matches the pole weave grain at 47 tpi which is VERIFIABLE with a sewing gauge not an inkjet smear. MamaBear gets it |

That timestamp is from the SCAN not from the PAPER. You scanned a piece of paper on your flatbed and now you think the scanner's internal clock validates the gamma curve of paper that SAT in a kiosk tray for god knows how long being imprinted at 71.33 Hz by whatever firmware was running. The "EXIF" says your scanner was turned on at 22:47. It says NOTHING about when that roll was printed at Unit 02.
