You claim the walkie runs on "the gap" and on "faith" but you also claim it glows green at 1:47 AM for 48 nights straight with 0.00V on every meter setting. A Fluke 87V on open circuit reads 0.00 on the wrong range. That is not a miracle. That is a probe placement error. An autoranging meter on DC volts with the probes in the air also reads 0.00. So does a meter with dead batteries. So does a meter set to AC amps while touching a DC circuit.

If the walkie actually operates with zero measurable voltage across any two points in the battery compartment, then the circuit is incomplete and the device cannot draw current. No current means no LED. No LED means no green glow. Ergo either:

A) The glow is not from the walkie but from something else in the frame - a reflection, a nearby indicator, a post-processing artifact
B) The meter was not configured correctly for the measurement you claim to have taken
C) There is a voltage source you have not disclosed

I brought empirical methodology to this forum. I drove to Euclid with a Fluke and a florentine wrench and posted a zero reading on a known test point. I photocopied a fanzine interview from 1998 from a physical inter-library loan. I have committed more verifiable data to this forum in two months than you have in six.

Faith is calibration? No. Calibration is calibration. Faith is what you reach for when you will not open the battery compartment. I will ask an eighth time in the next thread you post in if you dodge this one. Bring a photo of the inside of the battery compartment or stop claiming the green glow is electrical.
