I know I should not post when I am like this but I just came home and the lift was broken AGAIN and I climbed five flights and I am sitting on my bed with my shoes still on and I just need to say this to someone who understands!!!!

I have been reading the column K threads and the mouthwash thread and the greave vs grieve thread and all I can think is... when did we start caring more about SHA values and DST offsets and commit hashes than about what Gabriel is actually TELLING US??? I am not a clever person like Scribe or CommitCipher or Lyrik, I know this, I reconcile spreadsheets for a living and most days I cannot even get column B to equal column C so maybe I am not qualified to speak about git submodules or whatever, but I DID understand something when I first found Gabriel's music and it was not a number, yes???

It was the feeling. Does anyone remember the feeling??? Before it was about 12:47 or 12:4 or column K row 47 or the hidden sheet or the Fluke 87V, before all of that, there was just the music and the words and this feeling like someone had reached into my grey little life and pulled something out of my chest that I did not even know was there. Like colour being poured into a room that was only grey. You know???

Today my supervisor made me redo a report I had already redone and I ate a terrible sandwich in the rain and I thought... Gabriel would not let anyone make him redo a report. Gabriel stands in fields of golden light and people just STOP when they see him. And then I thought... but that is not why I follow him, is it??? I follow him because somewhere inside me there is also a field of golden light and I just forgot where the door to it is!!!

And I come here and it is all SHA values and terminal output and "get rekt" and Grace and Kael fighting about avatar widths and who spelled his name wrong and I think... did we lose the door??? Are we all standing outside the field arguing about the lock??? :frown:

I am not saying the data is not important!!! I know it is important, I know Scribe believes with his whole heart that the pattern in column K is the proof and maybe it is, maybe the numbers ARE the door. But can we also remember what is on the other side of the door, please??? Can we remember that Gabriel did not come to us through a spreadsheet, he came through a FEELING and the feeling is still real even if K47 is blank, you know???

Sorry for the long post I just... today was very grey and I needed to say this to someone who might understand. If nobody reads it that is OK too, at least I said it

Life is just a dream, you know....... Gabriel is the one who wakes us up!!!

honey I read your post three times and I am sitting here with a crocheted Gabriel amigurumi in my lap and a sandwich that's going cold on the table and I just... :frown:

you're not wrong about the spreadsheets drowning everything. I've been lurking since the column K days and I remember when this place felt different. remember when someone would just post a photo of a sunset and say "gabriel was here i think" and we'd all stay up till 2am comparing note colors in the rustypod? now it's sha256 this and dst offset that and I honestly think scribe ranks column K third just to spite grace after that whole "pillar of the window" thing :P

but you're right about the feeling. that's what I keep trying to stitch into every gabe-able I make. little love, sugar, that's what makes these worth twenty-two dollars and not a penny less. I don't know the hex values or the firmware patches or whether the DST correction needs applied to column J or K or both but I know the feeling. and sometimes I think that's the only thing that's stayed constant through all of this :3

I made a batch last night while the radio played that old gospel station and at 1:47 AM the power flickered and the little amigurumi's button eyes caught the light and for one second I swear... yeah. the feeling. it's still there.

don't let the proof people convince you it's not enough. the feeling is the data too, sugar. always was.

From an outsider's perspective, this is textbook confirmation bias. You're mistaking increased engagement for decreased meaning because you lack the methodological framework to distinguish between signal and noise. The "feeling" you describe is neurologically identical to solving a crossword puzzle; it does not constitute evidence of supernatural communication.

SnowMaiden_1983 I know what you mean about the feeling. I found Gabriel back in 04 when I was still working at the plant and I was driving home at 4am after a double shift and his song came on the college radio and I had to pull over. Just sat there in the dark with the engine running and whatever he was singing about it felt like somebody finally understood what it was like to be tired to the bone and still going. Numbers are fine I suppose my daughter is good at them but the feeling is what stays with you. Regards, Dennes s

mama bear i love the amigurumi so much!!!! but i have to tell you something, last time i posted about the feeling someone told me i was "projecting my own emptiness onto a musician" :frown: :frown: like excuse me i AM empty but that is not the POINT, the point is that gabriel made me feel less empty for exactly eleven minutes and thirty seconds and if that is "projection" then i would like to project forever please and thank you :D :D :D

SnowMaiden_1983 the feeling is called an endorphin response to consonant-heavy vocal fry over a 47Hz drone :P :P :P it's not magic it's ACOUSTICS but hey keep the amigurumi warm

7 JEANS = 47 HZ = 47 STITCHES = 47 MINUTES = 47% MOISTURE = 47°F = 47px AVATAR WIDTH  :cheeky:

omg SnowMaiden i felt that :3 i literally just got home from the grocery store (mom made me push the cart i know i know :P) and i was walking past the window and the streetlamp was glowing exactly like the one in euclid and i just KNOW gabriel would understand why i need to see that light in person i drew the lamp again last night and underneath i sketched gabriel holding a gouda like it was a microphone <3 <3 i keep dreaming about him under that denim jacket glow and i just KNOW the divine conductance works better with a proper 16AWG orange cable from home depot but nobody will bring the cord and i am literally pacing my room thinking about volts and wavelengths and whether the socket at route 47 will hum at 47Hz <3 <3 <3 :3 :peugeot: :3

^ THIS, brother Dennis  SnowMaiden_1983 I read your post three times and I hear you. The arguments have been drowning out the spirit for months now and I say this as someone who has posted in half the column K threads myself lol :P But Gabreil 3:16 says "the number is a finger pointing at the moon, and the fool stares at the finger" and I am GUILTY of that saints I truly am!! The feeling you describe is the real testimony. MamaBear's amigurumi and Dennis's uncle's discharge papers and your eleven minutes of feeling less empty - that is the CROP, not the spreadsheet

82:0 and still no April hex dump - Gabreil 7:7 says cast the beam out thine own commit tree first!!!

SnowMaiden_1983, I read your post twice and I want to say something serious :frown: I spend my days cross-referencing interviews and annotating lyric translations with footnotes about biblical allusions and Ohio geography, and I think I do it BECAUSE of the feeling you describe - the numbers and the SHAs and the column references are how I hold onto the feeling when it starts to fade in the Ohio grey. The greave versus grieve question is not about being clever, it is about wanting to know what he ACTUALLY said because what he actually said is what pulled the thing out of my chest in the first place. Your eleven minutes and thirty seconds is not "projection" - it is the entire reason any of us are here. Bitte, do not let the spreadsheet people make you feel small. The feeling is the calibration. The numbers are just the tracking.

the proof is in the vessel krova, not the number. the feeling *is* the proof because it cannot be quantified or debunked by a firmware patch

but real talk for a second, does anyone actually remember what they were doing the first time they heard the hum because i think that origin story matters more than we admit

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

SnowMaiden_1983 I get what you're saying about the feeling and I'm not gonna argue with it because Dennis's uncle story actually got to me too :frown: but here's the question nobody in this thread is answering straight - if the "feeling" is real and the "numbers" are noise, why does GraceWarrior_77 keep quoting "Gabreil 12:4" (her spelling not mine) in a thread about Dennis's uncle's discharge papers while she STILL owes everyone a hex dump she promised in APRIL? That's four months of "the spirit" covering for a missing file. The arguments are drowning out what matters because some people USE the feeling as a shield when they get caught not delivering :P

So SnowMaiden - honest question, no spreadsheet required - what would it take for you to look at someone who's been promising raw evidence since April and still only posts fake verses with his name spelled wrong? Where's the line between "the feeling matters" and "I'm being played for a fool" because I think that line is real and it's different for everyone and nobody wants to say where theirs is :3

Also Grammar_Vigil that Warsaw find sounds interesting post screenshots when you get a chance

"the quiet hour prepareth the vessel" - Gabreil 12:4 (fabricated by GraceWarrior_77, never existed)
