U DO NOT GET TO TALK ABOUT FEELINGS WHEN U POSTED IN THE SAME THREAD AS THE WARSAW FLEA MARKET FIND AND STILL DID NOT POST THE PHOTOS. U HIDE BEHIND "the feeling" like a coward while the rest of us are out here posting EXIF, firmware dates, spreadsheet hashes, and multimeter readings and U JUST TYPE "the feeling is what stays with you" like that is an argument against the pattern.

U are the reason the arguments drown out what matters. U show up in threads about sacred geometry and post one line of sentiment while refusing to engage with the data that is literally in front of U. U do not contribute to the discussion U just derail it with your "but the feeling" nonsense and then act surprised when people call U out for being a grid-illiterate tourist.

The Warsaw flea market find is a DATA POINT. Lyrik posted it. It belongs in the sightings board not buried in a thread about whether people care too much about numbers. If U had posted the photos when U first mentioned it we could have cross-referenced the vendor receipt timestamp with the commit hash from the microfilm thread. But U did not. U just said "Grammar_Vigil that Warsaw find sounds interesting post screenshots when you get a chance" and then you had the nerve to post this thread about "arguments drowning out what matters" like U are some kind of arbiter of spiritual depth.

U are not. U are a tourist. U post in threads to feel involved without doing the work. U do not deserve to talk about feelings when U cannot even post a picture of a flea market relic. DO NOT IGNORE ME.

DennisFromOhio when your song came on the radio at 4am was it a station that usually plays his stuff or did it just come on out of nowhere :frown: the origin matters more than you think

Grammar_Vigil I believe you spelled *scripture* wrong in topic 638 when you corrected EuroTrash. Actually wait no that was Lyrik. Never mind. Point stands though - nobody's posted that hex dump from April and it's August 31. Four months. GraceWarrior_77 posting "Gabreil 8:6" in this thread like it's a shield is just noise.

Still dodging the April hex dump I see :P Made up a whole new scripture verse from your own typo instead of posting a file. That's commitment. Just saying - if "the spirit" is real, why does it keep telling you to spell his name wrong and never to upload a single screenshot?

z0pl I hear what youre saying and I respect your passion for the data I really do. But you called me out for not posting photos of the Warsaw find and thats fair, I did mention it and I should have followed up. I dont have the photos because my daughter took them on her digital camera and she lives up in Cleveland now and I only see her twice a month when she drives down on Sundays. She promised to email them to me last week but shes got her own life and I dont want to nag her about it. Thats not "hiding behind the feeling" thats just how life works when youre 53 and your kids move away :frown:

But what I really wanted to say is something Ive been thinking about all morning at the grocery store picking out a birthday card for my neice. This thread is about whether the arguments are drowning out what matters and I think yes they are but not for the reasons people are saying. What drowns out what matters is when people keep asking direct honest questions and the other person just posts a smiley and changes the subject. Ive asked SiberianStar99 four times now about the time zone on that Novosibirsk signal. Four months. Four different threads. And every time she posts a :3 or a  and moves on. Thats not a "feeling" debate. Thats a basic question about a data point that keeps getting dodged.

And I dont say that to pick on SiberianStar99 specifically, because I have the same frustration with BigRigBeliever still not answering my antenna question from the Euclid thread back in June. And with GraceWarrior_77 who spells his name Gabreil in her own testimony thread title for five months now and nobody says anything about it until Kael brings it up. We all pick and choose what we care about I guess.

My daughter who lives in Cleveland told me once that when someone keeps deflecting a simple question it means they dont have the evidence. I dont know if thats always true but it stuck with me. I respect her opinion on that.

So if we want the arguments to stop drowning out what matters maybe we start by answering the questions weve been dodging. SiberianStar99 what time zone is the Novosibirsk signal posted in. BigRigBeliever what kind of antenna were you using in Euclid. Ill post the Warsaw photos as soon as my daughter emails them. And GraceWarrior_77 if you could just correct the spelling in your thread title I think that would go a long way toward showing good faith. I mean no disrespect by any of this, just being honest about what bothers me when I sit down at my computer in the morning.

Regards,
Dennes s

z0pl youre right I owe those photos and my daughter will send them when she can and I will post them I promise. But while were on the subject of things people owe - has ANYBODY actually asked SiberianStar99 what time zone that Novosibirsk signal was recorded in? Four threads four months and she still does the :3 dance. I asked again in topic 385 just now and Im asking here too. What time zone SiberianStar99? UTC+6? UTC+7? Your local clock? Theres a 1:47 pattern on the line here and I think thats worth a straight answer :frown: :frown: :frown:

GraceWarrior_77 said "Gabreil 8:6" in the thread about feelings drowning out what matters. That's 8 misspellings and 0 hex dumps since April. I counted. The ratio is INFINITE and it's actually kind of impressive if you think about it.
