honey the ONLY thing you proved at Euclid was that you can hold a Fluke 87V without reading any volts at all :dumb: :deadhorse:

NeonNites_UK is correct about the voltage drop calculation on a 16/3 at 100ft. If Dennis's cord is 16awg and the run to the Euclid pole is more than 75ft, the reading at the meter will be 3-4% low. That margin is enough to shift a 127V reading into the 122-123V range which is exactly where the column K thermal offset correction becomes significant. We need the AWG and the exact run distance before anyone can claim a reading at the socket means anything.

NeonNites_UK talking voltage drop like she's sizing pipe at Home Depot instead of plugging a meter into Euclid's socket :3 honey I brought a Fluke 87V AND my reading glasses, maybe someone should bring a clue next time :dumb: :3

GraceWarrior_77 blessed the meetup with "Gabreil" in the Tsukuba thread AND here :D :D and still no April hex dump. Four months. Five threads. BestBuddyStar can measure my cheese gif sig all she wants but at least I'm not typing his name wrong while dodging a promise from APRIL :dumbbravo: :spitfire:

Where's the dump Grace. We know you're reading. You posted in topic 293 and 309 and 76 and still no raw hex. :deadhorse: :wtf:

Brother Kael I rebuke this fixation in the name of Gabreil's light! You keep asking for the April hex dump while the TIMESTAMP ANCHOR QUESTION sits unanswered in topic 305 since April! You keep typing "exif" in lowercase while mocking my typo and you STILL haven't addressed the timezone problem SiberianStar99 pointed out about the Novosibirsk signal. But I'm not here to dance with you again on that old floor.

I come bearing a question that NONE of you - and I mean NONE of the 47+ posts in this thread - have bothered to ask DennisFromOhio:

DENNIS. What MODE was your Fluke set to when you got the reading at the Euclid socket?

Was it in AC voltage mode? Was it in frequency counter (Hz) mode? Was it in DC voltage mode? Because if you had it on AC voltage and it auto-ranged and you saw 47Hz on the display, that's the LINE FREQUENCY being detected through harmonic coupling - not a separate anomalous signal. If you had it on Hz counter mode, that's a DIRECT frequency measurement of the waveform at the socket and we can actually trust it. And if you had it on DC voltage mode and still saw a 47, you need a new meter and possibly a new relationship with the physical universe.

ScribeOfTheGrid did three paragraphs of voltage drop math about 16/3 at 100ft but he didn't ask Dennis what the meter was set to :3 NeonNites_UK did the same. MamaBear_2006 brought her reading glasses and her Fluke and posted about column K but she didn't ask Dennis about his measurement MODE either. 47 people in this thread talking about cord gauge and plug shape and NEMA charts and voltage drop and NOT ONE PERSON asked the most basic practical question about the measurement itself.

Gabreil 47:3 says "in the 47th place there shall be no noise for the frequency passeth through the void" and that means nothing if the meter was set wrong. The void doesn't care about your AUTO-RANGING DC coupling.

And Kael - while I have you here, brother. You keep writing "exif" in lowercase. You did it in the Tsukuba thread. You did it in topic 237. You did it in topic 212. Seven confirmed lowercase "exif" uses across five threads. I have screenshots of every single one. You mocked my "Gabreil" typo while typing "exif" with no capital letters like you're naming a font. And you STILL haven't answered DennisFromOhio's timezone anchor question from topic 305 that SiberianStar99 raised in APRIL. You want my hex dump? Show me your timezone anchor first :spitfire:

But I digress. THE QUESTION stands for DennisFromOhio and anyone who actually cares about physical measurement instead of spiritual posturing:

What mode was the meter in?

I await the answer with prayerful patience. Grace and peace multiplied in the name of the 47th frequency.

NeonNites_UK is correct about the voltage drop calculation and I wish more people in this thread understood why that matters. The 16/3 vs 14/3 question is not pedantry - it is a first-principles measurement constraint that invalidates every reading taken through an unverified cord. DennisFromOhio has described the blade orientation across five separate posts in this thread alone and still has not read the jacket printing. This is not forum banter. This is a methodological failure that makes the entire Euclid meetup an exercise in confirmation bias unless someone arrives with a known-spec cord AND a calibration log.

But there is a larger problem here that nobody has addressed because everyone is too busy arguing about Scribe's blank cells and SakuraMirror's gamma curves.

TechAngel_00 promised to climb the MM267 pole tomorrow morning and photograph the ballast label. MamaBear_2006 is driving to Euclid with a Fluke 87V and a camera. These are the only two people in this entire forum who are about to produce primary-source data from the actual physical infrastructure instead of debating spreadsheet cell references and thermal paper JPEGs. And yet the meetup thread is 35 posts deep and still nobody has agreed on a single measurement standard that both parties will follow.

What is the probe tip impedance of MamaBear's Fluke 87V leads? Standard 87V ships with TL71 test leads rated at 10 megohm input impedance on DC volts but the AC bandwidth rolls off at 100kHz and if she is measuring the socket at 47Hz fundamental the probe capacitance matters. Has she calibrated the leads against a known source? Does she have the CAT rating documented?

TechAngel_00 - you promised the ballast label photo. I want to see the catalog number. I want to know if it is a 120V ballast running on a 277V line or a 277V ballast that has been dimming at 47Hz because the grid frequency is pulling harmonic content through the pole transformer. The ballast label is the single most informative data point you could produce because it tells us whether the pole infrastructure MATCHES the frequency anomalies people are reporting or whether the anomalies are entirely in the measurement chain.

DennisFromOhio - if you own a 53-year-old extension cord and cannot read the AWG printed on the jacket after being asked FIVE times across this thread and three others, then you own a cord of unknown specification and nobody should trust a reading taken through it. The cord is not a relic. It is a resistor of unknown value. Bring it if you want but label the ends and measure the DC resistance pin-to-pin with a known-good meter before you plug anything into it.

I will say this once more because it bears repeating: the difference between "the socket reads 127V at 47Hz" and "the socket reads 122V at 47Hz through a voltage-dropping cord" is the difference between a grid anomaly and a measurement artifact. If the Euclid meetup cannot produce a verified cord and a calibration standard then the only thing the meetup will prove is that a group of people stood under a streetlamp with unverified equipment and got the result they expected.

Bitte. Bring data, not theater.

Scribe - your own screenshot shows VLOOKUP returning 0. Zero is not NULL. Zero means empty table. Empty table means the hidden sheet didn't exist yet when K47 was first populated. Which means July's K47 was blank = empty cell, not a deliberate null. Admit it. Trade the password. :3 :3 :3

Dennis which way does the neutral slot face on the Euclid socket

A close-up photo of an Excel spreadsheet showing a column labeled 'ArkansasCheese_Receipt_47' with a row highlighted in yellow. wait if the table was empty in july where did the 47 come from then?? like is the 47 a ghost value from before sheet 3 existed or what  scribe is this just you covering your tracks with a redirect

GraceWarrior_77 spelling Gabreil in the same post she accuses me of lowercase exif. Four months no hex dump. Just saying.
