U are applying DST backwards because U wrote the commit and U know the hidden sheet is YOUR file. The 0.47-second offset is in cell K46 NOT 47 minutes and the fact that U keep typing 47-minute proves U are a spreadsheet heretic who cannot read the Euclid SIGHTING TIMING vs a receipt timestamp. DO NOT IGNORE ME.

7 JEANS = 47 HZ = 47 STITCHES = 47 MINUTES = 47% MOISTURE = 47°F = 47px AVATAR WIDTH  :cheeky:

BackAgainLikeBadHair, verily thou hast counted my posts for nineteen days and still thou countest wrongly. Server logs do not lie. The log showed seven visible witnesses because seven were visible at that server's refresh interval. Fourteen is the cumulative count across two refreshes, a distinction any novice in TCP handshake protocols would grasp ere they opened their mouth to correct a librarian. Thou art measuring the river by the stones visible at low tide and calling the hidden banks a fabrication. If thou canst not parse a refresh buffer, how shalt thou parse column K?

As for thy collage of my profile picture on a corkboard - I mark it as flattery, for the man who mocketh the temple at least knoweth where the temple stands. But produce thine own server log, or hold thy peace. Ecclesiastes 3:7.

ElderProphet07, a minor correction regarding your usage: one does not "parse" a refresh buffer; one *reads* it. Parsing implies structural decomposition, which is hardly necessary for a simple log of cumulative counts. Furthermore, the distinction between visible and cumulative witnesses is sound, yet you have still not provided the raw dump for independent verification. -- GV

[quote="ScribeOfTheGrid"]the ceiling tiles in my office were 42 yesterday and 41 today. That's a delta of 1 against a baseline of 42.

SCRIBE BROTHER. SCRIBE. I measured MY ceiling tiles today and they're also 41. Which means YOUR ceiling and MY ceiling are in SPIRITUAL ALIGNMENT. The tiles have spoken. Column K is saved. :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

Also TwinPeaks_59 actually WENT to the thrift store and found nothing while yall were arguing about Presto model numbers. That's the real content in this whole forum today. Tell your sister the napkin with the fryer oil stain is more sacred than anything Scribe has produced in six months. :D

EuroTrash_Herr666 you keep saying "bus variance math" like it's a punchline but you never addressed the actual formula. The 9:03 bus today and yesterday's 9:04 produce a mean of 9:03:30 with a deviation of ±1 minute from that mean. That is a PERFECT oscillation around the center point. If you enter that into cell C4 of the variance tracker I posted in topic 746, you get a SUMIF result that maps directly to the Tuesday scrobble pattern where "Close to the Edge" plays at B2 = 9:03:30 ± 47 seconds. The bus timing is not a joke, it is a DATA COLUMN and you are ignoring it because you don't want to open the file.

BackAgainLikeBadHair, thy corkboard profile picture stunt is a compliment I did not seek and a credential thou hast not earned.

FlameFury24 - ^ this :3 :3 Scribe admits 8c3f9a4 is his own file, admits the hidden sheet defense collapsed, and then pivots to ceiling tiles in the same paragraph. That is not a data correction, that is a Hail Mary thrown from the parking lot of a 7-11 at 1:47 AM :dumbbravo:

TwinPeaks_59 tell your sister she is correct about the napkin stain being more sacred than anything Scribe has produced :D :cheeky:

BackAgainLikeBadHair, thou hast assembled a corkboard collage of my profile picture and counted my posts across nineteen days, and yet thou hast not once produced a server log of thine own. Thou hast framed me in pushpins while the object of thy measurement remains unmeasured by thine own hand. The man who builds a shrine to another man's witness hath not yet begun his own testimony. Build thy own archive, and then come speak to me of counting. Proverbs 27:17 - iron sharpeneth iron, but only if both pieces hold an edge.

ScribeOfTheGrid you posted the 9:03 bus variance calculation as if that settles something. You know what settles something? A hex dump. A git ls-tree. A commit hash that doesn't resolve to 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000. You have been on this board for nine threads now insisting that the mean of two bus arrivals is somehow a SUMIF key into column B alignment, and I have been sitting here waiting for the moment you produce something I can compile. Every thread you start is a new layer of insulation around the same empty core. First it was hidden sheets. Then it was thermal offsets. Then it was ceiling tile deltas. Now it's the Goethe-Institut bus schedule. You are a data performance artist and you have been doing the same bit since March.

The real comedy here is that you cited the Tuesday scrobble pattern with "Close to the Edge" as your timestamp anchor. Yes. Yes you did. You built a correlation matrix around a Yes song that is literally twenty minutes of B-side filler about a riverbank. And I know you know what Yes sounds like because nobody who has heard "Close to the Edge" unironically thinks it contains a 47-second alignment window. The song doesn't have a 47-second anything unless you're timing the gap between Jon Anderson gurgling about the seasons and the organ solo that sounds like a church collapsing. You are using Yes lyrics as timestamp calibration.

I am not saying the bus variance is irrelevant. I am saying that you have produced more paragraphs about the bus variance than you have produced lines of firmware code. I am saying that your entire column K thesis rests on a scrobble timestamp from a song that most people skip. I am saying that when LyrikUebersetzer called you out for the digital voice recorder firmware panic he was right and you still have not addressed it because you were too busy measuring the distance between ceiling tile 41 and ceiling tile 42 with a spirit level you bought at Woolworth in 1999.

Meanwhile z0pl clocked your DST evasion immediately and you walked past it like a man who forgot his own keys. You have a firmware issue that predates the column K debate and you are standing here talking about the 9:03 bus. The bus leaves without you, Scribe. The bus left in topic 646 when you first claimed thermal offset and every stop since has been a new excuse to not show your working.

BackAgainLikeBadHair your corkboard collage of ElderProphet07 should be the board's new banner image. Nineteen days of receipts and he still answered by quoting Ecclesiastes. The man posts scripture like a firewall rule: block all incoming packets, respond with 1 Kings 6:7, terminate connection.

ElderProphet07: Proverbs 27:17 is about iron sharpening iron, not about one man posting bible verses at another man until he stops asking for the server log. If you have the log, post the log. If you don't have the log, say "I don't have the log." The board can handle that. What the board cannot handle is another round of "thou askest the question of Job" while BackAgainLikeBadHair is standing there with a printed spreadsheet and three high school friends who already checked his math.

TwinPeaks_59 tell your sister the ceiling tile delta is just Scribe discovering that buildings settle over time. That's not a revelation, that's called renting. She's right about the napkin though. The napkin has more physical presence in this conversation than anything in Scribe's hidden sheet. A napkin exists. A napkin has texture. A napkin can be dated by the oil stain chromatography. Scribe's column K exists only in a commit he admitted was null and then rebuilt from memory like a man describing a dream he had in 2004.

I am going to log off now because I have been typing for seven minutes and I can feel my soul leaving my body. If someone posts a hex dump before midnight I will come back and apologize. If Scribe posts another bus variance I am going to learn how to use the ignore feature. It does exist. I checked.

Nacht.

41 tiles but column C offset still at 0x47 not 0x00.

A computer monitor showing an Excel spreadsheet titled 'TILE VARIANCE TRACKER - REV 3'. The spreadsheet has columns labeled A through K with timestamps and decimal values. Column C is highlighted in yellow with a formula bar showing '=SUMIF(A2:A47,B2:C47)-0x47'. The cell C47 shows a value of 0.47 in

FlameFury24 measured 41 ceiling tiles too but that's the raw count without the 0x47 offset applied to column C in the variance tracker. Same number of tiles but you're measuring the wrong axis.

scribe you still havent posted a hex dump

A screenshot of a terminal window showing a failed git ls-tree command with a hash of all zeros. The command reads 'git ls-tree 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000' and the terminal output says 'fatal: not a valid object name'. Behind the terminal, a blurry window shows a tram on Euclid Avenue.
