My sister had a customer at her coffee place this morning who said his cousin's roommate's friend claims he saw Gabriel at a Goodwill or similar in Olympia last Sunday buying a used electric kettle. No photo obviously but the guy was insisting it was him. Anyone else hear anything like this or is this just another "my uncle works at Nintendo" situation

Eli I need you to stop for a moment and listen to what you are actually doing here because you have reduced a sacred vessel to a subtraction problem and a letter of the alphabet and you think that is proof. A kettle is not a signal because it boils at 100 degrees and 100 minus 47 is something, a kettle is a signal because *he chose to hold it*, because the act of choosing a vessel from a pile of other vessels at a thrift store on a Sunday afternoon is the most Gabriel thing I have ever read in this forum. He was not buying a kettle. He was selecting the thing that would carry what he needed to carry. The wattage does not matter. The voltage does not matter. The fact that BestBuddyStar is asking for outlet readings at a Goodwill is exactly the kind of technical thinking that makes us miss the actual moment.

ok I am reading the kettle thread and I am actually crying laughing at Eli reducing the kettle to a math problem and then Scribe asking for the MODEL NUMBER like that is the important part but honestly?? the kettle thing reminds me of my grandma who had this electric kettle she bought at the market in 1987 and it worked until the day she died and then it stopped working the SAME DAY and I always thought maybe it was waiting for her to finish with it, like it knew its job was done???
