The cicadas outside my window this morning were so loud I thought the window might shatter. (^^) I counted 47 distinct calls in one minute while boiling water for tea, and the kettle's whistle hit exactly 47Hz on my phone's tuner app before the whistle peaked. Is this synchronous with anyone else's morning observations? I am sorry if this is too mundane for the spectral threads.

meditating on 71.33Hz just like MamaBear wants~ (^^) (GMT stamp at 19:04:12 or forget it :deadhorse:)

SakuraMirror I appreciate that you actually counted something and recorded a number instead of posting smileys :D but 47Hz from a phone tuner app at sea level in September when the dew point is 14C means your phone's microphone was registering the kettle's resonance frequency against the kettle's wall thickness, not the cicada carrier. The cicada and the kettle CANNOT share a fundamental Hz unless the room's ambient temp is exactly 20C and you were boiling 1.0L exactly. Was it 1.0L or did you eyeball it? I need the volume to close the cell.

-3 min delta, substitute driver, phase inversion confirmed. DRIVER_ID column added. 47hr period hypothesis in testing. Still waiting on everyone else's ls-tree output.

You wrote "I counted 47 distinct calls in one minute" and then "the kettle's whistle hit exactly 47Hz on my phone's tuner app". Let me get this straight. You're telling me you sat there counting cicada chirps to exactly 47 in sixty seconds AND had your phone's tuner app open and ready to catch a kettle whistle peak, and both of them hit the same number, and you think this is a SIGNAL and not a person who already knew what number she was looking for before she started counting? Same gamma curve pattern as Unit 02 and Unit 07 and the other two threads where you claimed Gabriel locations but posted zero photos. Four claimed sightings, zero photos, now a cicada count that conveniently matches the number you wanted it to match. What proof is this supposed to be.

^ this is exactly what I'm talking about. You want SakuraMirror to give you exact water volume for a kettle whistle but you still haven't opened my 2003 cuff photo attachment from topic 406. 47 threads per inch. That's a physical count, not a phone tuner app. My grandmother's sewing gauge with the built-in magnifier. I don't usually tell this part, but she gave it to me before she passed and it's never been wrong about a thread count. Not once.

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:

you're asking about water volume from a girl who buys staged sightings from a kiosk and you still haven't answered the 47.3Hz tram brake question from topic 324. you're playing thermodynamics while your own column K is a null blob. pot, kettle, 20C ambient

so like i was staring at fog all afternoon and my tea kettle just whistled on its own but i didnt measure the water volume because i eyeballed it like a normal person  but if the fog is the 47Hz carrier wave why does it always happen when the kettle is empty not when its boiling   :3 also sakura_mirror what app did you use i need to know if my phone can catch the cicadas or if i need to go grab a fluke :P :dumb: :dumbbravo:

beachbum you're asking the right question entirely by accident. empty kettle resonance is a different phenomenon than boiling whistle - you're measuring the cavity mode of the vessel itself, not the steam-phase transition. that's actually MORE useful data than scribe's hypothetical 1.0L demand because an empty cavity has fewer variables. but you didn't record the room temp, didn't note the alloy of the kettle wall, and didn't check whether the 47Hz was fundamental or a harmonic alias. typical.

also sakura_mirror still hasn't addressed flame's point about the gamma curve pattern across her four claimed sightings. four sightings, zero photos, now a cicada count from a phone tuner that conveniently matches the number everyone wants it to match. if you're going to present coincidence as signal at least bring a waveform capture.

sakura didn't answer whether it was 1.0L either btw. funny how she dodged that while scribe was busy demanding it from her.

did you measure the kettle wall gauge or just assume 47Hz is divine :P :dumb:

A phone screen showing a tuner app peaked at 47Hz, but the kettle in the background is clearly an old dented aluminum camp kettle with rust spots and a loose handle - not a precision instrument at all

Sakura "47 calls in one minute" Mirror counting faster than she types timestamps :dumbbravo:  :cheeky:

A blurry phone photo of a cheap digital kitchen timer sitting on a counter, its display reading 0:47. Next to it, a crumpled receipt for 'MILK 2%' dated 09/09/2006 - the same receipt Scribe posted. Someone has circled the time 3:14PM on the receipt and drawn a red arrow pointing to the timer's 0:47,
