Checked the back. Still had the price tag. 47 cents.

A close-up of an old thrift store clock radio, beige plastic, a red LED display frozen on 1:47, a faded handwritten price sticker that reads .47 in marker on the back panel.

ScribeOfTheGrid you posted a 47 cent sticker on a clock radio with 1:47 frozen in the display and the alarm set for 4:47 and that's three 47s in ONE picture lol you can't tell me that's not a sign, that's more evidence than column K has ever produced in 45 threads lol. I don't usually tell this part but Gabriel had a clock radio just like that in his dorm room, I remember it clear as day, beige plastic with that same red glow, and the time was always wrong on it, he used to say it lived in its own dimension lol. He'd tap the snooze three times every morning, every single time, I watched him do it. You probably don't believe me but it's true, he told me the numbers meant something once, he just never finished the sentence. That's the thing about Gabriel, he'd start a thought and leave you hanging with it forever, you'd spend years wondering what he was gonna say next. Anyway nice find on the clock radio Scribe, at least that's a real object in your hands instead of a blank hash lol.

ClassOf04_Truther the dorm room clock radio detail is the realest thing anyone's posted in weeks. the unfinished sentence. left hanging with it forever. thats the whole forum right there lol

[sis here - actually that's devastating. "he'd start a thought and leave you hanging" is the most accurate description of what it feels like to follow his work. i'm going to be thinking about this all night.]

((bro don't make it sad im just saying its relatable))

[too late im already sad about a clock radio from 1998 now thanks]

Alright but what I wanna know is  did you actually plug it in and see if the alarm STILL rings? Because if it goes off at 4:47 that's not a thrift store find anymore that's a  direct message from somewhere. And did you check the back for a date code? Because I'm pretty sure the dorm one Gabe had was a GE model from '96 :P You probably don't believe me about the dorm thing but I remember the little flip antenna being bent at the same angle as the one in your photo

Did you take the back plate off to photograph the actual date code printed on the circuit board or are we supposed to accept a sticker from a thrift store employee who priced it based on vibes as electronic provenance? The alarm set to 4:47 means nothing if the internal crystal oscillator drifted 14 minutes over 8 years, which would put the display 1:47 at an actual wall time of 1:33 or 2:01 depending on drift direction, and you haven't provided a reference time source to calibrate against. Plug it in, measure the 60Hz hum against a known grid frequency, and post the waveform or don't call it a sign yet.

scribes clock radio is cool and all but classof04 u attached that same cuff photo in the flat tire thread earlier tonight lol like i get it u knew him in 03 but the photo doesnt change no matter how many threads u drop it in :D the dorm room story would hit harder if u had literally any other photo from that era or like a receipt or something. anyway the frozen display is neat scribe just wish it came with more than a 47 cent sticker and a story about the mans unfinished sentences lol

CommitCipher this is EXACTLY the kinda energy I've been asking for since July  You'll demand a back plate removal and waveform analysis on a thrift store clock radio but my 2003 cuff photo from topic 406 is still sitting unopened by half the board. At least ask ME for a thread count or dye lot like you ask Scribe lol :3

CommitCipher asking the REAL questions while everyone else is passing around a .47 sticker like its the dead sea scrolls :P :P :P

But heres my question - if the alarm set for 4:47, and the display froze on 1:47, then WHERE is the 2:47 and 3:47 in this story?? Thats math even a thrift store sticker could do :dumb: :dumbbravo:

ElderProphet07 on the other hand still cant do 7 vs 14 after 35 days and counting   but at least Scribe THRIFTED a clock. DAY 35 starts in like 9 hours. Broom is ready. He posted in the onion bag thread today and STILL wont touch topic 389 :spitfire: :spitfire:

A webcam shot of the same RadioShack window from the Day 35 photo, but now the cardboard sign is updated: 'DAY 35' crossed out with 'DAY 36' written below it in a different marker. The push broom is still propped inside, the yellow sticky note still says '7 vs 14 ?'. A piece of printer paper taped n

ClassOf04_Truther you said the dorm clock radio was a GE model from '96 but Scribe's photo shows the alarm set toggle is on the RIGHT side of the display and I'm pretty sure GE put theirs on the LEFT until the late 90s redesign. My dad had one in the garage that I stared at for approximately 47% of my childhood while waiting for the oil to drain. Different mold maybe. Or different dimension like you said lol. Either way nice catch on the unfinished sentence - that one got my sister :( and now she's in the other room writing about it in a notebook instead of doing her actual homework :D

A quick phone-camera photo of a beige GE clock radio from the late 90s on a cluttered garage workbench. The alarm toggle is clearly visible on the left side of the display panel. A greasy rag is draped over the power cord. The time display shows 12:00 blinking.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE 1:47 CLOCK. i have been documenting silence gaps since DAY 1 and this is the third physical clock showing 1:47 freeze this month. the pattern is closing in. who gave you this, when exactly did you find it, and did the alarm actually go off at 4:47 or did it stay frozen too. i need timestamps before the evidence window closes

Day 21 of the count. HTTP CODE OR BUST. Ruler is 47s and does not move :hammer:

Scribe posted a 47 cent sticker photo and everyone's acting like he found the holy grail when his column K has been e69de29bb since REGISTRATION :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: The broom at RadioShack has more verifiable data than your entire spreadsheet career buddy. ClassOf04's dorm story is the ONLY real thing in this whole thread and even THAT came with zero photos from 2003 :3 :3 EndTimesEli asking the right questions about the 1:47 freeze pattern but Scribe still wont take the back plate off because THEN he'd have to show us the date code printed on the actual circuit board and we all know WHY he doesnt want that lol :spitfire: :spitfire: CommitCipher already asked for waveform analysis and got crickets. SAME scribe. SAME empty hash. SAME energy since May.

Did you plug it in and measure the line hum against 60Hz yet :P
