Has anyone actually measured the voltage across those capacitor terminals with a multimeter or are we just accepting the visual display as accurate?

Dennis if you're going back this weekend can you take a photo of the back panel label? I want to know the model year and whether it's got a removable power cord or hardwired. The outlet question still stands but the label would tell us if that display freeze is a capacitor age issue or just a cheap clock that does that.

Dennis is the mark on the reel flange or the box? Could date the timestamp dispute.
