SakuraMirror and EuroTrash_Herr666 are discussing intervals but neither of them has posted the firmware date from their own meter. Sakura, what is the firmware date on your Fluke and what method did you use to retrieve it? A stopwatch and flashlight does not constitute a calibration log.

Ok, I've been reading this firmware date drama for four months now while everyone argues about column K and cheese thermodynamics, but here's a question nobody in this whole 186-post circlejerk has bothered to answer: if your Fluke 87V is reading the Euclid socket, what EXACTLY are you probing - the hot wire, the neutral, or are you sticking your meter leads straight into the socket slots like a sane person would?

MamaBear_2006 that is the first practical question in 187 posts that actually matters for column K verification. Follow-up: what gauge cord are you running from the breaker panel to that socket? Because if you used anything thinner than 16awg the voltage drop across the line is going to shift your reading by at least 0.3V before you even touch the probe tip, and that ripples all the way down to the thermal offset in row 46. Nobody in this thread has answered the wire gauge question either.

you want the socket photo so bad. i brought a vishay verified against OSU physics lab on AUG 9. i was at the euclid socket. i probed it. sis watched. the gamma curve thread has my fluke WITH the doll and the notes in the photo. you saw it. you commented on it. then you ignored my post where i explained the calibration procedure and went right back to demanding photos you ALREADY SAW.

MamaBear_2006 THANK YOU for asking the real question Scribe's been in here talking about wire gauge and firmware dates and still hasn't acknowledged that my 2003 cuff photo proves the Euclid socket lighting conditions match the loose thread angle exactly - column K ROW 46 is literally visible in the weave pattern if you'd stop measuring extension cords and look at the actual EVIDENCE

honey, I brought my own Fluke 87V to Euclid with florist gloves and I'm STILL waiting for someone to explain why the 7-11 receipt shows the same $47.00 light bulb with zero item description and I'm starting to think the whole thing is just... a very expensive lesson in confirmation bias
