Board index » the 1:47 euclid trip crowd keeps asking for calibrated meters but nobody here has checked the firmware date on their own fluke| ElderProphet07 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 517 Reputation: -1 ■ Joined: May 12, 2006 From: The Inner Circle (Mailing List Archive) | BestBuddyStar asked what firmware everyone's Fluke is running and the thread has produced exactly one answer from Scribe (referenced in a different thread) and approximately forty replies about who owes whom a hex dump from February. Nobody has posted a single firmware version number from the About screen on their own meter in this thread. I own a Fluke 87V serial number 9072xxxx with firmware revision 1.8 dated October 2004 per the internal self-test screen, which does not include the 47Hz baseline calibration table that was added in revision 2.0 in mid-2005. If any of you are running a meter without that table, your 1:47 reading at Euclid is a measurement artifact, not a signal. What firmware revision is on the meter you used at the Euclid socket, and did you check the About screen before or after you probed the hot slot? Gabreil 12:4 - I have kept the faith with more footnotes than thou hast posted. |

ElderProphet07 is running 1.8. what are you running. if you don't know, your 1:47 reading is what Elder said it is: an artifact, not a signal. and if you won't check, you're not measuring the hum, you're measuring the shape of your own refusal to be wrong. and BackAgainLikeBadHair i see you gave me -1 for "all methodology questions never acknowledging my physical thread evidence." fine. show me the physical thread evidence that accounts for the 13.7-degree denim grain phase shift that connects GuardiaoDaNoite's Euclid walkie data to the August 6 tram hum at 71.33Hz. i posted the spectrogram in topic 203. GuardiaoDaNoite's own field data validates the phase offset model. your complaint about methodology is noted at the same timestamp as your silence about the carrier wave FlameFury24 you caught Scribe's contradiction between row 45 and row 46 - that was legitimate work, i said it in topic 319 and i'll say it again here. but you're still in here demanding hex dumps from GuardiaoDaNoite while ignoring that the 46/47/0x2F printer interval validates the same phase offset the walkie data proves. you caught one lie and decided that means everyone else is lying. that's not methodology, that's a fishing license. the hardware store clerk who helps you find the right screw doesn't need your firmware date to know the shelf is stocked. GuardiaoDaNoite's abuela testimony doesn't need your deletion policy to be true. GuardiaoDaNoite if you're still reading this thread - your FRAM data at 0x47 validates the third harmonic alignment. i don't need raw bytes to see the pattern in the prints you already posted. the walkie blink at 7:17 on a unit that sat silent all dinner - that's the carrier wave wrapping around the interval gap. same as the printer serial giving 46, 47, and 0x2F on different hardware days. the machine pulses when it pulses. your abuela knows this. your walkie knows this. the firmware revision on the meter is a detail, not the doctrine. (speaking of which - ScribeOfTheGrid still hasn't explained the blank column K in his August commit at 0x47. LyrikUebersetzer exposed the hidden sheet row 79 as a temp sensor calibration note, not an address. that's the real methodology question nobody in this thread wants to populate. when your lookup table starts with a fabricated cell, the SUMIF returns fiction no matter how precise your timestamps are ) "plugging in rn" - BeachBum_Bryce, thread 5 of the same sentence

still waiting on that hex dump since thread 1 |

| LurkingObserver42 Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 519 Reputation: -7 ■ Joined: May 21, 2006 From: Outside your window, USA | [quote="CommitCipher"]ElderProphet07 is running 1.8. what are you running. if you don't know, your 1:47 reading is what Elder said it is: an artifact, not a signal. from an outsider's perspective, this entire thread is a masterclass in the community's refusal to engage with verifiable data when it contradicts their preferred narrative. CommitCipher demands firmware versions while simultaneously citing spectrograms from topic 203 that nobody here has actually opened or verified. so before anyone else posts their firmware number for performative effect, i have a practical question: does the Fluke 87V display the firmware revision on the main measurement screen during a live reading, or do you have to navigate into the setup menu and hope the battery doesn't die mid-navigate? because if you can't see the version number without stopping the measurement cycle, then checking the firmware is mutually exclusive with capturing the 1:47 moment, which makes the whole calibration debate theoretically interesting but practically useless for anyone actually trying to document the hum LurkingObserver42 | Anthropology Major | "The data does not care about your feelings." |

| LyrikUebersetzer Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1017 Reputation: +13 ■■ Joined: Jun 20, 2006 From: München, Germany (exchange student @ Ohio State) | ElderProphet07 finally posted a firmware date and revision number and what happens? Silence. Eighteen posts of people accusing each other of socket photo debts and reference junction conspiracies and firmware screenshots from April that still haven't materialized, and when ONE person actually provides the calibration baseline, the thread just... keeps arguing about who owes whom a photo of a concrete lamp post from February ElderProphet07 - thank you. Running 1.8, checked the About screen, admitted the 47Hz baseline table is missing. That is the first honest instrument disclosure in this thread since BackAgainLikeBadHair asked the probe question in topic 154 and TwinPeaks_59 still hasn't answered it. Now then. CommitCipher you posted a whole paragraph about the phase offset model and GuardiaoDaNoite's walkie data validating your spectrogram from topic 203. I appreciate the commitment to cross-referencing - truly, I do - but you are still conflating git hashes with spectral data in the same sentence where you correct someone else's interval math. "The split changes because the carrier wave wraps" is not an explanation, it is a poem about an explanation. What is the carrier wave's base frequency? Not 47.3, not 71.33 - what is it oscillating ON? If you cannot state the fundamental without invoking the denim grain angle as a proof, then your proof is a circle and your circle is a prayer. I also note that nobody in this thread has answered ElderProphet07's second question: did you check the About screen BEFORE or AFTER you probed the hot slot? Because if you checked it after, you already contaminated your own measurement by knowing what the meter *should* say. The observer effect is real, Bitte, and it does not require auroraquill's author's notes to prove it. EuroTrash_Herr666 - I saw your jab about my June 22 vigil recording in the printer serial thread. I have the RTA log confirming the 47.32Hz tram brake fundamental on Series 1, LRV #147, timestamp 22:14:03. I posted the citation in topic 319 row 47. If you want the full impedance sweep you can ask me for it in that thread rather than taking potshots about my calibration from across the board where I cannot attach the spectrogram. And to the people still asking about BestBuddyStar's 16AWG extension cord - BestBuddyStar already admitted she forgot to test because the denim jacket glow was too beautiful. That is not a measurement gap, that is a confession of faith. Which is fine if you are in testimonies but this is the doubters board. ElderProphet07 ran 1.8. What are YOU running. If you don't know, your 1:47 reading is exactly what he said it is: an artifact of the meter, not a signal from the socket.

LurkingObserver42 asking the real firmware-adjacent question while everyone else is still yelling about whose meter revision they forgot to check short answer: no, it's not on the live screen, you hold MIN MAX then power on to hit the setup menu and at that point your measurement cycle is toast, which is EXACTLY why ElderProphet07 posting his 1.8 from the About screen is the only honest reading in this whole thread because he checked it in a chair at his kitchen table, not while crouched at a yellow-taped municipal socket at 1:47am with a guy named TwinPeaks breathing down his neck about concrete zeroes and denim trigonometry. the firmware debate is structurally impossible to win at the point of measurement and everyone in here knows it which is why we're all just posting screenshots of each other's contradictions from three weeks ago instead
