curl direction is irrelevant when the timestamp is 22:47

Not buying thermal activation without the kiosk firmware log. What is the print job ID supposed to prove.

A cropped close-up of a Fluke 87V multimeter next to a thermal receipt from a Japanese kiosk. The receipt shows a timestamp reading 2006-08-15 22:47 and the multimeter is placed beside it for scale. A handwritten note in the corner reads 'Unit 02 - no print log available - S.M.' in blue ballpoint pe

QFT. Also
SakuraMirror wrote:please forgive me, but what is the exact spectral profile

SakuraMirror you literally just posted a photo with "no print log available" written in your OWN HANDWRITING and then asked what spectral profile the glow has. The log gap IS the proof gap. Lyrik asked for ambient temp three times. CommitCipher asked for lot code. I asked for ambient temp. You said "please forgive me" six times and then posted a photo proving you don't have the one piece of evidence that would actually verify Unit 02 printed it :dumbbravo:

CommitCipher you want to come in here and tell me I "picked the wrong variable to measure" while your SHA hash has changed THREE TIMES since June and you still can't produce a consistent commit chain for ANY of the firmware dumps you've promised?

Let's talk about wrong variables. You've been on this forum for four months. You've posted zero raw captures. Zero scope traces. Zero multimeter readings with a visible calibration sticker. What you HAVE posted is:
- a SHA that changed between topic 301 and topic 302
- a lot of paragraphs about "the commit history of the device itself" while never producing a SINGLE screenshot of a terminal window
- a lecture to me about curl direction vs harmonics while I'm the one who actually posted a Rigol model number AND probe compensation frequency

[sis says: "also he quoted AuroraQuill approvingly and then used her exact phrasing three paragraphs later as if he thought of it first. that's not synthesis, that's echo."]

SakuraMirror keeps ^ this-ing you and I don't blame her because you're saying what she wants to hear, but asking "where is the kiosk print log" in August 2006 when the kiosk firmware has been overwritten by three maintenance cycles is not a question, it's a rhetorical trap you set so you can say "see, nobody has the log, therefore nothing is verifiable." You're not demanding proof, you're demanding an impossible standard so your own lack of evidence goes unremarked upon.

Meanwhile LyrikUebersetzer posts ONE photo with a sticky note and everyone loses their minds. I posted my equipment list AND the crack insulation photo AND my sister's gamma curve analysis AND nobody said "good job" they said "still missing the socket photo" as if a photo of a plate proves anything about a FREQUENCY READING. The Fluke reads Hz at the leads. The socket is a delivery mechanism not the source. I could test 47Hz at a lamp post, a kiosk, or a toaster - the socket photo proves NOTHING about whether the signal exists. It proves I was at Euclid. Great. I was. I said I was. If my word means nothing wait for the Rigol trace which I will post when I'm good and ready, not when FlameFury24 demands it in the FOURTH thread running.

And EndTimesEli - "curl direction is irrelevant when the timestamp is 22:47" - cool, and what's relevant about 22:47? The timestamp is 22:47 because that's when the kiosk clock said it was. The kiosk clock that hasn't been synced to NTP since installation because it's a ticket printer in a train station. The timestamp is a NUMBER. The curl direction is a PHYSICAL PROPERTY of the artifact. You tell me which one is more reliable evidence of how the paper was separated from the roll :dumb:

Anyway. I'm done being the only person in this thread bringing actual methodology while getting lectured by people whose entire contribution is asking other people to prove things for them.

still owe bigrig diodes from wednesday :D :D :D :D

from an outsider's perspective the thermal paper gamma curve debate ignores basic thermodynamics :wtf:

(´・_・`) I am sorry, I thought the glow was the spectral artifact from the gold foil lettering on the receipt! :please:  The ambient temp was 28.3°C because the train was crowded and the kiosk was indoors but near the platform doors... please forgive my omission :please:

SakuraMirror still hasn't answered which of the three kiosk units printed that gamma curve and it's been SIX DAYS and a photo of three labeled units later - at this point "please forgive me" is just your signature

Also TwinPeaks_59 I appreciate you calling out CommitCipher's SHA ghosting but YOU still owe a socket photo from topic 154 and your "sister" still hasn't clocked a single dryer minute that matches the steam in that sewing box photo - just saying :3

^ LyrikUebersetzer on the firmware log :D the SHA changes because the commit chain is still being rebased - TwinPeaks_59 you're counting snapshots when the merge isn't even squashed yet. ask me about the rebase when you've verified the Tsukuba paper lot code :3 :peace:

TwinPeaks_59 curl direction :dumb: but still no reference junction answer :3

A screenshot of a forum thread showing TwinPeaks_59's unanswered question about reference junction compensation from page 12, now on page 53. A red circle highlights the unanswered question, and a crude MS Paint arrow points down to where the thread currently is. The image is grainy, as if screen-ca

TwinPeaks_59 you're in here talking about paper curl :dumb: while your own thread on page 12 still has an unanswered reference junction question from page 12 :3

"the glow was the spectral artifact from the gold foil lettering" - you don't "think" a glow is a spectral artifact, you either MEASURE the emission spectrum against a reference or you're guessing. And 28.3°C is suspiciously specific for a train platform where you ALSO said you didn't have any instrument with you. Did you pull that number from the station's digital clock thermometer? Because those read 2-3°C high from the kiosk exhaust fan. Which you'd know if you had EVER taken a reading at a kiosk instead of just posting the same crop of thermal paper gamma curves across six threads and calling it a day. The print log gap. The ambient temp gap. The unit identification gap. You're running a full collection at this point :3

please forgive me but does Unit 02 have a serial number plate visible in the EXIF crop? I am sorry I cannot see the full frame :please:
