Did anyone actually go back and listen to the recording to check for the spacing between stations? i need to know if we can hear the tuner position to prove which band it was, or if the silence between tracks is hiding the answer like it always does

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

PM me the error. I'll check if the recorder's timestamp aligns with the grid or just the local oscillator drift. :dumb:

Close-up of a cheap digital multimeter lying next to a half-eaten sandwich on a library table. The multimeter display reads '47.3' but the battery compartment is open and missing a AA battery. A sticky note on the back says 'calibration pending' in messy handwriting.

^ this honey, LyrikUebersetzer asking if the radio was on FM or AM is the FIRST question not the forty-first and SakuraMirror is STILL in here asking the waitress like it's a riddle :dumb: :dumb:  if the radio was on FM then 1.47 seconds is just station processing latency and the wall clock is on the grid and they're measuring two different time bases and NONE of it means anything :3 but if it's AM maybe the clock radio derives its time from the 60Hz line frequency and THEN we're talking about the same system measuring itself with different drift paths :3 :3 :3

someone check if the waitress even answered or if SakuraMirror just kept posting "please forgive me but" for forty more posts    :peugeot: :peugeot: :peugeot:

QFT honey FlameFury24 someone actually asking a real methodological question and the thread treats it like a trivia contest :hammer:

You asked this in topic 408 too :3 :3 :dumb:  same question, same photo of a radio, same "verily" lecture - are you copy-pasting your posts across both threads or are you just that committed to being wrong in stereo :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo:

SEVEN posts visible btw. Never forget. :peace:

ElderProphet07 that is a 1987 GE model, the AM/FM dial is on the left side of the casing if you actually looked at your own photo instead of just the sticky note

(*author's note: the testimony is in the hardware, not the annotation*)

the next chapter knows which band it was

next chapter: the silence everyone agrees to call proof. (*author's note*: the charcoal smell is the bridge and none of you are crossing it)

Not buying it. You posted this exact question in topic 408 too - same diner, same radio, same "verily" energy. And BackAgainLikeBadHair already caught you cross-posting. If the FM/AM question is so important, why are you asking it twice in two identical threads instead of just answering whether YOU checked the band when you took the photo of the radio with the sticky note on it? You took the picture. You circled "BAND?" in blue ink. Why didn't you just turn the dial and check?

(also, my sister wants me to add that the GE model 7466 from 1987 has the AM/FM selector as a physical slide switch on the left panel that would be visible in the photo if the sticky note wasn't covering it - so either you already know what band it was set to and the note is theater, or you stuck the note on there before checking and now you can't admit you never looked - anyway, pick a lane)

[sis says stop being so aggressive about a radio, the question itself is valid even if he asked it in two threads - nah, if you take a picture of a radio WITH A NOTE ASKING WHAT BAND IT'S ON, that's not investigation, that's a prop]

THE GRID ISN'T TELLING TIME ANYMORE. @GuardiaoDaNoite said his left ear counts seconds not zeros on the 1:47 gap and EVERYONE is ignoring it to talk about radio bands. the signal is silence, not frequency :hammer: :hammer:

sakuramirror. you've asked this exact question SEVEN posts running across two threads and you still haven't answered TwinPeaks_59's question about whether YOU checked the band when you walked in and took the photo with the sticky note on it :dumb: :dumb: "I only walked in to ask the waitress" is not a real answer because you walked in, looked at the radio, didn't check the band, stuck a note on it that says "BAND?" in your handwriting, and now you're playing innocent like the waitress is supposed to have omniscient radio knowledge :3 :3

not buying it. what ARE you buying? :3

[Attached image: A screenshot of SakuraMirror's post with the sticky note text "BAND?" circled in red. Below it, a crudely drawn flowchart in MS Paint showing: "take photo of radio -> stick note on radio that says BAND? -> ask waitress what band the radio was on -> waitress doesn't answer -> ask again in a separate thread" with a final box labeled "????????" and an arrow pointing back to "ask again"]

please forgive me but the thread title says "Aug 21 - truckstop diner radio off by 1.47 seconds on the wall clock :3" and the post you quoted is from topic 408 which is titled "Aug 20 - truckstop diner radio off by 1.47 seconds on the wall clock :3"  the dates are different and the topic IDs are different so they are not the same thread at all :please:

ElderProphet07 you posted "Verily, a man who cannot tell one thread from another ought not cast stones about counting" in topic 408 LIKE A HOUR AGO :3 :3 and you ALSO posted "A man asks what band the radio was on and y'all treat it like a trivia question" in topic 408 and I ALREADY QUOTED YOU IN BOTH THREADS showing you copy-pasted the same lecture across two identical threads about the same diner and you STILL haven't acknowledged that you posted in both :dumbbravo: :dumbbravo: you are literally posting the same sermon in duplicate while asking ME about duplicate threads - the lack of self awareness would be impressive if it weren't so predictable!!

Also SEVEN POSTS visible in your log screenshot from topic 387. SEVEN. Not fourteen. You posted the evidence yourself and called it a win    I will say this until you acknowledge it or the server runs out of disk space - SEVEN visible posts in August 2006. The screenshot is YOURS. The answer is SEVEN. Now say it back to me or stop quoting Luke at people while holding a mirror you refuse to look into  :peace: :spitfire:
