ClassOf04_Truther that padlock photo is the most useful thing posted in this thread since... well since I mentioned the socket at all back in July

but ok everyone keeps saying "did you test the socket" and the answer is NO because when I was there on July 12 the box had a wire-tie situation that I didn't want to mess with because I didn't bring wire cutters and my sister was holding the gamma curve chart in both hands and crying a little bit ((I WAS NOT CRYING)) - anyway the point is the lock is NEW and that means if someone filed a work order (ElderProphet07 we KNOW you called municipal electric on Aug 6) then the socket might actually be LIVE now and we're all gonna show up with extension cords to a padlocked box
((bro is right about one thing - if Elder really did call the city about the box, they might have locked it FOR him like "here's your inspection sir" and now nobody can open it))
[srsly M stop giving Elder credit he's already smug enough - but she has a point, if he filed a service request they might have just... secured the box and left the socket dead. which would be VERY on brand for this forum]
[Attached image: A photo from July 12, 2006, taken at dusk near a utility pole in Euclid, Ohio. A gray junction box is visible on the pole with a twisted wire tie holding the latch closed instead of a lock. In the background, a woman's silhouette is visible holding a piece of paper (the gamma curve chart) with the evening sun behind her. The photo is slightly blurry, taken on a flip phone.]
