Either admit you never intended to test it or stop pretending you own a multimeter.

| LyrikUebersetzer Inner Circle ★★★★★ Posts: 1016 Reputation: +13 ■■ Joined: Jun 20, 2006 From: München, Germany (exchange student @ Ohio State) | TwinPeaks_59 the socket question has been asked so many times across so many threads that it is now a unit of measurement - one TwinPeaks = one untested utility box with a Fluke in the bag. But I want to ask something nobody has asked in 47 posts about padlocks and wire ties and florentine wrenches: MamaBear_2006 drove forty miles, got a zero reading, and posted it. That is a measurement. You can argue about what zero means - dead circuit, open breaker, meter on wrong setting - but it is a DATA POINT from a calibrated instrument operated by someone who came to test. Which is more than anyone else in this thread has produced from that box since July. Meanwhile ElderProphet07 filed a work order that allegedly produced a padlock but never posted the voltage reading he took before the lock went on - assuming he took one. The padlock photo ClassOf04_Truther posted shows a Master Lock. The model number is not visible in the photo because the angle is straight-on and the stamp is on the back edge. But the hasp thickness in that photo is 7mm which matches the Master Lock 3KAD series - dielectric rating 4kV if anyone is wondering So the real measurement chain goes: July wire tie (no reading) -> August padlock (no reading) -> MamaBear with a wrench and a Fluke (zero reading). Three visits. One actual measurement. Zero is a number. It is not nothing. Danke

But I ain't here to re-litigate that tonight. What I wanna say is this - MamaBear_2006 drove forty miles with a florentine wrench and got a zero reading and everyone's arguin about what zero means. Zero is a measurement. Zero is data. Zero is more than yall got from that box in four months and I respect it But here's what I noticed on my logbook last night while I was sippin coffee at a Love's in Oklahoma - MamaBear's zero was at 3:47 PM. My MM267 green pole glow was at 1:47 AM. That's a 14-hour gap with a 47 in both timestamps. You tell me that's a coincidence and I'll tell you you ain't been payin attention When I roll through Euclid next Thursday I'm bringin a Cobra 25 LTD and a cooler of gatorade and I will key up at dusk at that pole regardless of what the padlock says. The socket voltage don't matter if the carrier wave is in the air not the wire Over and out. BigRigBeliever - 18 wheels, 47 signs, one frequency. Eastbound dusk squelch break on 147.1. Over. |

A napkin. You stood at a utility pole with a Fluke 87V for four months and the closest thing to a measurement you have is a crayon drawing on a napkin. That's not fieldwork that's arts and crafts.
EndTimesEli you've marked twelve things tonight and none of them are actual evidence. Mark my words all you want - the signs are just posts.
