Alright I have been away annotating dialectal features on a napkin at a burrito place and I come back to find GuardiaoDaNoite STILL posting the same empty-battery-compartment walkie photo AND BestBuddyStar has graduated from cheese receipt theology to full liturgical string-cheese construction. This is what I love about this forum - the epistemological standards are exactly calibrated between "the multimeter is the only truth" and "my 47-cent shrine is calibrated to 1:47 AM green glow because I said so and the cheese said amen"

But let me ask the question that nobody in 50 posts has asked, not even ListMasterPrime with his "Respectfully, LMP" clipboard:

Guardiao - if the walkie has no battery and no DC jack visible in any of your six identical photos from three months of posting, but the abuela prayer hum is FM-only at squelch-zero - how does the receiver front-end bias itself? The FM demodulator in a Baofeng UV-5R (which your walkie appears to be, regardless of what you call it) requires a minimum of 3.3V DC to bias the mixer diode into its conducting region. Without a power source, the RF front-end is a passive metal box with a speaker cone that cannot transduce a 1:47 prayer because it has no DC operating point. The speaker itself requires current to move its voice coil - even a piezoelectric element needs a voltage differential across its diaphragm.

I ask this not as heresy but as basic circuit theory - v. 2.1 of the Power Source Objection, now with the mixer diode bias explicitly stated. If the answer is "the timeline broke at 1:47:47 and current runs on the break" I will translate that into German for my own amusement but I will not accept it as engineering. Bitte - show the DC jack. I would like to believe you, but I cannot believe a photo of a dead radio with a story attached.

Brother BackAgain - you count sesame seeds but miss the zipper frequency in the hum. EndTimesEli is RIGHT when he says the 1:47 gap carries the zipper sound first. The walkie does not run on batteries, it runs on the GAP.

And TwinPeaks_59 keeps saying Baofeng UV-5R but I never showed model sticker - assumption makes walkie look foolish
