Thread's been running for 59 posts and the ONE question that matters has been asked by nobody. Not Dennis, not EuroTrash, not even FlameFury with her pixel forensics. Allow me, as a European, to bring the continental rigor that this thread so desperately needs :P

The sharpie label.

Nobody has asked ClassOf04_Truther to show us her own handwriting.

The box says "GABRIEL DATA" in what appears to be a medium-tip permanent marker, all caps, moderate leftward slant (approx 7-9 degrees off vertical), terminal stroke on the 'A' finishing with a slight hook that suggests the writer was moving the hand toward the next letter without lifting the pen. Standard ballistic movement for a right-handed writer writing quickly. Nothing distinctive enough to identify the writer UNLESS we had a known sample to compare against.

ClassOf04_Truther has posted at least four photos on this forum with handwritten sticky notes attached. Topic 793 (the sewing box), topic 767 (the Euclid yearbook), topic 320 (the laundromat thread), and topic 410 (the cuff photo). In every single one, her handwriting is: lowercase cursive with exaggerated descenders on the 'g' and 'y', rounded 'o's that close incompletely at the top, and most importantly - a characteristic hesitation stroke before the capital 'G' where she stops and re-angles the pen. I have been sitting on this observation for weeks because I assumed someone else would bring it up, but nobody did, so here we are.

Now look at the "GABRIEL DATA" label. Look at the capital G. The initial stroke goes down-left, then up-right, then across - a single continuous motion with no hesitation point. That is NOT how ClassOf04_Truther writes her capital G's. Her G's have a visible stop-and-shift at the top-left corner where she adjusts the pen angle mid-letter. The floppy label G is written by someone who forms that letter without conscious attention - it is an automatic motion, not a deliberate one.

This tells us precisely one thing: the sharpie label was written either by Gabriel himself (who would write his own name automatically) OR by someone else whose handwriting we do not have a sample of. It was almost certainly NOT written by ClassOf04_Truther.

BUT - and this is the part that actually matters - the label being in Gabriel's handwriting or not tells us nothing about what is ON the disks. A file label is metadata. The contents of the disk are data. ClassOf04_Truther is treating the label as if it is the content, which is the equivalent of reading the spine of a book and declaring you have read the book. Scribe is doing the same thing with his 1,441,792 byte pre-calculation - treating the FORMAT as if it is the MESSAGE. Everyone in this thread is arguing about the container while nobody asks what is inside the container.

Dennis, if you are still reading this thread: ignore everyone. Read one disk. Post the directory listing. If it is 1.44MB of zeros, we learn something. If it contains 47 copies of a 1998 MIDI file called HASH.MID, we learn something else. If it contains a single text file that says "the grid hums at 47.2 not 47" and is timestamped June 2006, ClassOf04_Truther is going to have some explaining to do about where she got these disks :3

The test of a hypothesis is not its elegance. It is whether you are willing to let it be falsified. Nobody in this thread has shown any willingness to let their hypothesis fail.

Bitte, Dennis, read a disk. Let the data speak or let the silence speak. Either way, the waiting is over.

Dennis, just read one. doesnt matter what you find. if its blank, scribe's gonna call it a coordinate pair anyway, if its got files on it, we finally have something real to work with. either way you break the deadlock. EuroTrash said it best - "let the data speak or dont. everything else is theatre."

((also if you find a text file called GABRIEL_SOCKET.TXT or something i will personally drive to ohio)) [no you wont, the clunk noise is getting worse] [bro says the CV joint might fall off in a parking lot] anyway. just read a disk. we need a data point thats not a gouda label or a photoshopped finger :P :P

The arithmetic does not lie, no. But the person who chooses which arithmetic to perform often does

You say 1,441,792 divided by 47 gives 30,676, which you then map against a "commit vector." This is not methodology; this is numerology with a spreadsheet. You have taken two unrelated integers, divided them because the result was an integer, and declared the output a "coordinate pair" without specifying what coordinate system you are using, what datum, or what projection. Is this UTM? Lat/Long? The back of a napkin? :dumbbravo:

And you still have not posted the SHA-1 or raw hex for the hidden sheet object at 8c3f9a4. You have had three threads to do so. You promised the cell references "before or after the read attempt." The read attempt has not happened yet, so you have no excuse on that front either.

Dennis, for what it is worth: if you put one of those disks in the drive and the directory listing shows files, do not let Scribe interpret the byte count before you have posted the raw listing. The number 47 appearing in a filesystem is not evidence of anything except a person who named forty-seven files.

DennisFromOhio thank you for being the only person in this thread who asked what to look for instead of telling us what you already believe is on the disks. Now here is my question and I want a straight answer from anyone who has actually touched one of those floppies.

Is the sharpie on the labels the same shade across all 47 disks or does it fade from one end of the box to the other. Because if they were all written at the same time the ink should match. If they were written over a period of months or years the oldest ones would be lighter. That tells you more about when the data went ON the disk than any spreadsheet arithmetic from Scribe's column K ever could. Someone look at the sharpie. Please. Just the sharpie.

GraceWarrior_77 asks about sharpie ink fade across 47 disks and that is genuinely the first useful question you have asked since the January 14 video being a January 17 video :P :P :P But here is the REAL question nobody in 66 posts has bothered to ask Dennis:

WHAT FORMAT ARE THE DISKS :dumb: :hammer:

Are they FAT12? Are they raw DD images? Are they some proprietary format from a 1990s synth workstation that only reads on specific hardware? Because if you shove a floppy into a modern USB drive and Windows says "please format disk" you havent learned ANYTHING except that Windows cant read it. And if Dennis is running a 2006 laptop with a parallel port floppy controller? Different answer. If theyre Mac-formatted 400K floppies from an old Mac SE? Different answer. If they are 1.44MB PC disks written with a 1994 Lexmark printer driver pattern because someone used them as a font cache? Different answer.

Six people have counted bytes into column K ranges. EuroTrash wrote a whole paragraph about pre-proving null results. Grammar_Vigil asked for SHA-1 before a single disk is read. LyrikUebersetzer is out here doing handwriting analysis on the sharpie   But NOBODY has asked Dennis what kind of DISK DRIVE he is using to read them and whether he even HAS a drive that can read what he found.

I am not asking for the theology of column K. I am not asking for Grace's sharpie fade analysis even though it was a good question for ONCE. I am asking: DENNIS what physical device are you reading these disks with? Because if the answer is "my cousin's friend has a USB floppy drive somewhere" then we are gonna wait another three months while the cousin's friend moves house. If the answer is "I bought a Panasonic JU-257 at a pawn shop last week" then we can get somewhere. Just saying.

Also ClassOf04_Truther you been posting about your 2003 cuff photo in EVERY thread since April and I respect the grind :3 but if these disks have actual DATA on them maybe you can finally prove that 47 tpi means something without having to screenshot your own hoodie for the twelfth time :P :P :P

Also Grace still waiting on that hex dump from April. EIGHTEEN Gabreil misspellings this month but the hex dump was supposed to arrive in April. We are now in September. The disks have more honesty than you do

Tsukuba platform 47 - 6:47am Sep 20 - phone recording exists. Grace at 82 verses and still no hex dump since April. Just saying.

GraceWarrior_77, thou speakest of sharpie fade across 47 disks. Verily, forty-seven threads of Gabreil typos and thou hast posted zero hex dumps. The ink is not the issue :dumbbravo:

First, z0pl - MamaBear actually SHOWED UP at Euclid with the meter. You posted a blurry photo of a bathroom socket in thread 382 and called it "sacred" while refusing to flip the walkie over. Learn what a coward looks like :3 :3 :3

Second - Kael asked about disk format 67 posts ago and nobody answered him. 67. Dennis if theyre Mac 400K youll need a SuperDrive or a really old Mac. If theyre 1.44 PC you can read em in any USB floppy. If theyre some proprietary synth format from a 90s workstation you need to tell us what synth. THIS IS THE QUESTION. :hammer:

[bro says Kael asks the right format question while he still owes the hex dump from April and Im not wrong]

((the format question IS the right one M but Kael also misspelled "proprietary" as "propietary" in post 63 so lets not canonize him))

ANYWAY. Dennis. What kind of floppy drive do you even have. That's the first question. Not the sharpie shade, not the hash, not the column K spreadsheet. The drive. :P

U WOT M8. This whole thread is 67 posts of people arguing about column K and byte offsets and Scribe's imaginary coordinate pairs, and the person who finally asks about the actual INK is the one who got docked rep for a typo in her sig?

ClassOf04_Truther you posted the cuff photo in APRIL and Scribe still cites column K like it's the ten commandments. Four months. 47 disks. Zero hex dumps from Scribe across NINE threads. But he's got time to divide 1,441,792 by 47 until it says something he likes :dumbbravo:

Replying to the ink question with the REAL question: Dennis has the disks. Dennis has the drive. Dennis is from Ohio. Dennis is the ONLY one who can end this circus. Post the DIR listing. Let the data speak or dont. Everything else is theatre - EuroTrash said that and it's the truest thing in this thread after 67 posts.

Get. Rekt. :blastu:

omg flame I have been WAITING for someone to say this!!! I posted TWO cuff photos not one!!! one in april and one in june and BOTH of them have 47 threads per inch and I counted them with a magnifying glass my dad brought home from work!!! I literally wrote the count on the printout in sharpie because I was so excited!!! and scribe NEVER acknowledged either of them!!! he just keeps dividing 1,441,792 by 47 and calling it a "commit vector"

I would SHOW MY HANDWRITING to settle this sharpie question but honestly I am more worried about the FORMAT question kael asked!!! I have a 2003 dell inspiron with a built in floppy drive and it reads 1.44mb disks but these could be mac 400k disks and then what do I do??? I tried searching ebay but nobody sells superdrive cables without also selling their firstborn child!!!

MamaBear if you still have that flate 87v I will trade you my ENTIRE GABRIEL POSTER COLLECTION for it!!! I have the denim jacket one and the acoustic session one and the one from the christmas special and they are ALL 11x17 and I laminated them myself!!! please I am begging you!!! :please: :please: :please:

:3

16awg cord coiled & ready // Euclid Sept 12 booth 4 // MamaBear's Fluke 87V + Grace's WITNESS folder = REAL data // Scribe still dodging K47 e69de29 :deadhorse: :3

BestBuddyStar finally saying what I've been saying since April. Two cuff photos. 47 threads per inch. Countable with a magnifying glass. But sure, let's keep dividing 1,441,792 by 47 until the spreadsheet says something nice about us.

2003 cuff photo still unopened since July - 40+ threads and counting! cat photobomb included free of charge :D :D :D 147 tpi weave evidence or i didnt happen :moonwalk:

Dennis. Can u at least TELL us what kind of computer you have. Like is it a Windows XP machine or a Mac or what. bc I have a 1998 iMac G3 in my garage rn that reads 400K Mac floppies and if ur disks are Mac format I actually know someone who can read them (it's me. I'm someone) ((he's someone with a dead iMac that's been sitting under a tarp for two years)) [IT BOOTS SIS I TESTED IT LAST MONTH]

anyway the point is if u need hardware to read these things just say what format they ARE. :P
